Her reasons for resigning the governorship of Alaska aren't exactly a secret, Fred. The actual reasons for her departure from office have been discussed here ad nauseum, and they're fully laid out in her book, "Going Rogue".

WOW! How amazing is that!

She wrote about her resignation and the reasons for it in her book that was published 6 months prior to said resignation? How could folks not have seen that coming?

P.S. Do you get a % of book sales, or something? The answer to every question of substance seems to be "Buy her book."

Well it does have her unspun answers in it. Isn’t that what people want to know?

Sarah Palin resigned as Governor in July 2009.

Going Rogue was written in September 2009.

You got nothing!

my mistake - or Amazon’s actually. They show the publication date of Going Rogue as follows:
Hardcover
Publisher: Harper
Published: January 1, 2009
http://www.amazon.com/Going-Rogue-American-Sarah-Palin/dp/B002YPL4JK/ref=tmm_hrd_title_popover

The date appears to be about 11 months early. It all seems like eons ago.

I don't know what you're trying to insinuate with that, but the entire story of her resignation is laid out in her book in great detail, and could not have been written before the fact.

Have you even read "Going Rogue"? I don't see how you could have, if you're cocky enough to make that bold assertion. Try reading chapter five, "The Thumpin'". The whole story of her resignation starts on page 341, and goes to page 381.

She made her resignation speech on July 3rd, 2009. Her book has a 2009 copyright date on it. It would have had to hit the shelves on January 3rd, 2009, if what you say is true. Need I remind you, that that was only two months after she and McCain lost the 2008 election?

Read the book.

Borrow it from the library if you're such a skinflint -- if it hasn't been banned.

Oh, *that's* right: the meme is that Sarah bans books: even though the librarian concerned admitted that she hadn't.

Try again.

Cheers!
