I hope you are right Windflier, but I think a lot of people in this country don’t like quitters and she’s never really had to address the fact she quit on Alaska. If she runs, she will have to seriously explain to the people in this country why she quit and why people in the USA should trust her not to do it again. If she thought being Governor of Alaska was bad with the scrutiny, what does she think the POTUS brings?
I’d prefer her on the sidelines and doing great work there, exposing liberals, etc, etc
She did. You just choose to ignore it and peddle your dribble.
Rather dishonest of you--it wasn't the scrutiny, it was having to defend against and pay for the defense of spurious lawsuits brought by Dem operatives.
She covered all this in Going Rogue as "The Thumping."
Or, you could go watch The Undefeated to get an idea of how effective she actually is while in office.
But you're a Chris Christie fan, so I'd expect you to not care (he's a foe of the 2nd Amendment, which is a called third strike in my book).
Cheers!

Her reasons for resigning the governorship of Alaska aren't exactly a secret, Fred. The actual reasons for her departure from office have been discussed here ad nauseum, and they're fully laid out in her book, "Going Rogue".
People who are still unfamiliar with what really happened there, are either not reading at Free Republic, have not read her book, or they get the bulk of their information from left-wing blogs or the mainstream media.
She didn't just "up and quit". She was driven from office by leftist operatives. Please take the time to read up on the real facts of that episode. It was NOT what it may have looked like at the time.
