I think she got burned out during the last campaign; I think she enjoys her current role as a spokeswoman for conservatives, campaigning for other candidates through her PAC, she can still impact the outcome of the nomination, etc.; I think she's considering the impact on her family. In short, I think she enjoys her current position much more than she seemed to enjoy campaigning in 2008 (according to the various accounts I've read).

I don't know if she won't run, because her actions and interviews send mixed signals (e.g., the bus tour began on the eastern seaboard, but then you have the documentary release in Iowa), but I'm inclined to think she won't.

Don’t forget that in 08 she was under the thumb of McCain ‘handlers’ whereas this time, she’s calling all the shots.
Were I her, I would not have liked the treatment they dished out either.

Fair enough. A lot of people have made similar comments about the possibility of her running, and why they don't think she will.

Here's just one reason that I'm convinced that she will run.

Sarah Palin respects the American people and our political process far too much to lead the country on for so many months. She's incredibly smart, and knew even during the 2008 election, that many Americans were already looking at her as their pick for 2012.

She's known for a long time now, that she would have to tell the country one way or another whether she's running. She would not have waited until this late date, only to announce that she's not running - knowing that it would likely make her a pariah in the eyes of millions, for the rest of her natural life.

Trust me. She's running.

That's what people who suffer greatly from PDS all say. They don't want her to run, so claim to speak for her, saying that she won't. At least you cleaned it up a bit, by saying that you don't know if she will or won't run.

What you fail to take into consideration is that should she choose to not run, she immediately loses her cashe and relevancy. Many,if not most, of her most fervid supporters won't care what she has to say and/or do,if she doesn't enter the fray and unlike you, I do believe that she knows this. Also, she may "enjoy" what she is doing now, but that is and has been, for years now, gearing up for her run for the presidency.

Just what makes you "inclined to think she won't" run ?
