BTW, you are on a site that backed McCain Palin. Why not go tell JR he’s no conservative. Coward? Stand behind your convictions!

That twisted "logic" only works if one arrogantly presumes that my vote belongs to the Republicans to begin with.

It doesn't.

LOL. You're right, you only vote for entire nutcases. Congrats on having such fine judgment......no one can fool you, that's for sure....

*rolls eyes*

Again, your opinion. So why not let others decide for themselves? I did and disagree with you strongly.

The actual reasons for her departure from office have been discussed here ad nauseum, and they're fully laid out in her book, "Going Rogue".

WOW! How amazing is that!
She wrote about her resignation and the reasons for it in her book that was published 6 months prior to said resignation? How could folks not have seen that coming?

Sarah Palin resigned as Governor in July 2009.

Going Rogue was written in September 2009.

You got nothing!

So we’re ok with electing someone that was “driven out” by leftist operatives. Do we seriously think that these leftist operatives will stop? What about Middle East operatives? Russian operatives? Seems to me that if a bunch of liberal operatives drove her from the Governorship that doesn’t exactly show me she’s willing to stand up and fight back. Nor does it show me that she should be POTUS. And I do have her book, and I do like what she stands for, but that doesn’t change the fact that she quit the governorship 1+ years in, now does it?

Reagan used to be a Democrat at one point in his life, also. I have no problem with Perry being a Democrat at one point in his life.

my mistake - or Amazon’s actually. They show the publication date of Going Rogue as follows:
Hardcover
Publisher: Harper
Published: January 1, 2009
http://www.amazon.com/Going-Rogue-American-Sarah-Palin/dp/B002YPL4JK/ref=tmm_hrd_title_popover

The date appears to be about 11 months early. It all seems like eons ago.

If you take an honest look at the entire situation and circumstance and LAWS (key point in her ability to defend) at work surrounding her leaving office and still come to the conclusion she’s a ‘quitter’ than so be it. But until than, I recommend you research it a lot more.

I’m not ignoring that fact of Reagan at all. The difference is that Reagan was the Governor of California, the largest populated state in the country. He also served two terms as the Governor and didn’t quit through either one of them.

Look, I have no doubt that pressure was high on Palin, but that doesn’t mean you run out and quit on the people of the state and then a few years later you decide you want a Mulligan and this time rule the entire country. That is why SHE CANNOT WIN. People will be clamoring for why she quit. Secondly, if it was so bad then what’s to stop these same boogymen from trying to get her out as POTUS? Independents will just laugh at the entire charade.

You ignored the guidance of our founding document

Tell me where in the Constitution it says that I should vote for the lesser socialist.

Bronze...let’s go through those other Governors that resigned, shall we. Almost all of them resigned in disgrace.

9 out of 10 Americans have no idea why she quit. The answers she gives in her book will not fly with 6 of those 9. She will be labeled as a quitter who didn’t fight the good fight. That may be wrong, that may be unfair, but that will be the perception and perception is reality.

You're right, you only vote for entire nutcases.

Well I guess that makes both George W. Bush and George Allen nothing more than "entire nutcases." I voted for them in 2004 and 2006, respectively, and while I regret my vote for Bush, I recognize that he's not a "nutcase."

I don't know what you're trying to insinuate with that, but the entire story of her resignation is laid out in her book in great detail, and could not have been written before the fact.

Have you even read "Going Rogue"? I don't see how you could have, if you're cocky enough to make that bold assertion. Try reading chapter five, "The Thumpin'". The whole story of her resignation starts on page 341, and goes to page 381.

She made her resignation speech on July 3rd, 2009. Her book has a 2009 copyright date on it. It would have had to hit the shelves on January 3rd, 2009, if what you say is true. Need I remind you, that that was only two months after she and McCain lost the 2008 election?

Read the book.

Thanks for ignoring everything I posted and going back to the lefty meme of "SHE QUIT".

Are you truly THAT obsessed with she quit, she quit, she quit, she quit, that you are completely incapable of engaging in any substantive back and forth? It would appear so.

Look, she has explained the reasons she left office. It's in her book, it's in the movie, it's been reported on and talked to death................for years. If she joins the fray, she can easily explain it all. And just why is it that you refuse to understand that the rules for suing a president and the then Alaskan rules for frivolous law suits of a governor are completely different?

If all you want to/can do is to just keep posting this tripe, over and over again, ad nauseum and refuse to engage in factual discussion, then that's your problem and believe me, it is a "problem"!

I double dog dare ya to take me up on my previous post to you, for a real, factual discussion.

I'm glad you have her book. Now pick it up and read chapter five, "The Thumpin', starting on page 341.

If you still think she was wrong to resign the governorship after reading that chapter, then I don't know what other logic or reason will persuade you that she did the right thing for her family, her staff, and the people of Alaska.

I simply think that allowing idiots unchallenged to spout BS and stir trouble is what got this country in the mess it’s in to begin with. It has damaged the country in the big picture and it damages a board like FR in the smaller one.

Hear hear! Glad to see that I'm not the only one saying that. Damn, it felt lonely for a while, there. LOL
