First....sorry, don’t know what BOHCA means.

Second, I heard McConnell say that.

And I did a spit-take.

Then I thought about it. Wasn’t it kind of tacitly agreed that the debt limit WOULD be raised but the pubs warned it would come at a cost? I know Bachmann said she would NOT vote for the debt limit to be raised but remember, she’s in campaign mode.

And not that I think it should be raised, do not misunderstand. It’s just that all along it was kind of agreed that it would be raised.

Americans understand such as mortgages and credit card limits and really, this tacit understanding really shouldn’t be written in gold. Who says we can’t cut enough costs to get us below the debt ceiling and by careful budgeting, like we all must do, keep it down?

The Repubs....reaching across the aisle is their forte....legislating and governing like we all must run our lives....not so much.

I understand that this media crisis may soon act to bring down Rupert Murdoch's Media Empire and may take down several other tabloids as well. Good riddance I say.

American media is dominated by tabloid trash reporting just like television is controlled by insipid 'dancing with the stars' type shows. ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX all compete for the lowest rung of audience demographics and morons who actually believe in Jerry Springer hoopla

I have a feeling your kids watched lots of Jetson cartoons growing up? Looks like great fun and really professionally done. If this product doesn’t hit, I hope they go ahead with another one, as they’ve got all the skills to design, package and market something big.

“The rich” don’t have to work. What you’re really saying is overtax the go-getters.

This is the problem with the Republican Party. We don't want an increase in the debt ceiling yet our party is going to negotiate for an increase anyway.

This is like being falsely accused of a crime and the defense attorney ignores the facts and is busy plea bargaining with the prosecution over how much jail time should be served.

Well thank you Mr. Lurker of 9 years.

Don’t know about being a model because, by my own admission, I threw in the towel many times, giving up as the RINOS ruthlessly lied about us.

I did write many articles, for which they thanked me profusely because, heh, sometimes me and my keyboard go on a rant to end all rants....but I lost faith so many times when others soldiered on.

But hey, for now....I’m going to step up to the podium proudly. WE WON! The RINOS went down like the rotten potatoes they were.

Oh they’re still around but they’re beaten. And folks, if we can do it in Delaware, home of mightty mighty Mike Castle who thumbed his nose at us for years, know this when it comes to a local GOP near you.

Tom Ross is gone. The new head of the Delaware GOP is...TADA...John Sigler, former head of the NRA! We got a NewCastle RINO in second command, that bit of chicanery made me mad.

The head of the Sussex county GOP is a fellow named Glen Urquhart. The name might not be familiar to y’all but he ran for Mike Castle’s seat in the House, right alongside Christine O’Donnell. took us three months to get that old RINO Sussex GOP guy outta there, fighting, yelling, pitchforks and tar.

For as I always ask my husband....Who do the Republicans fight with the force and vehemance that they NEVER use on the Democrats or their friends across the aisle?

Husband always answers correctly....THEIR OWN DAMN BASE!!!

Not yet. We had to get the chase, work boat from the Florida West Coast. The manufacturer was 5 months behind in building them and one of the engines just blew up on the chase boat that holds the Jet Lev machines. So we had to get a new one. been a lot of start up problems to solve but its going great............

Just watched little Timmy Geithner spew his chatting points all over DNC Dave,it was quite a show!

The theme appeared to be that August 2 truly is a huge deadline for the sake of the country.(all lies)

Geithner is trying to spin the date as a do or die date with the penalty for ignoring it the absolute downgrading of our debt.

Trouble is it does not make sense to downgrade someone's debt that has decided not to borrow more money and dig an even deeper hole.

Why would any creditor down grade the value of debt/the dollar if we suddenly decide to stop borrowing at the rate we have been? Makes no sense at all to me. Creditors/bond holders--US debt buyers,if there are any, are not concerned about whether or not other vendors get payed only the security of their debt!

Here's some other topics of discussion between the little fart and DNC Dave.

Geithner wants a big substantial deal with cuts coming down the line but tax increases immediately. Typical scam artist trying to roll our side once again. The chatting point is that "we are still healing from the great depression" (created by Bush).

We will get substantial savings but have to do it through "shared sacrifice" a huge talking point that has been uttered by every major dem from Dingy Harry to the Dear Leader. It suggests that the rich get all the benefits and the budget is always balanced on the backs of the poor which is just more projection since its always the opposite. They lie so well.

"The Republicans are walking away from the talks not us"--more chatting points. We only walk when they refuse to agree to cuts instead of tax increases, the know it.They collapsed the talks no on else.

Geithner says "we need both sides to compromise"-- what this means is that we(dems) ran up the deficit waaay too high and now we want the Republicans to fix it only with tax increases instead of cutting what we bumped up the past two and half years an increase in spending of over 60%!!Unprecedented!!!

In other words they made the problem and now want us to fix it the way they tell us to.!!

Great deal if you can get someone dumb enough to do it.

More BS. Geithner talks about long term deficits coming down over time which really means tax increases now and budget cuts never.

"We need balance"--tax increases not budget cuts, more pap. More pap,SS demagogue we can't go after the older(they already did in obamacare, don't balance budget on backs of seniors, old old talking point, we won't shift burden to middle class-- more projection, special interest tax cuts for the rich balance budget on back of poor-- class warfare over and over and over.

No talk at all of 14 trillion debt never mentions even once, and then the piece de resistance where Geithner tries to set the debate tempo as a definite deadline of August 2 or a collapse,"downgrade of credit"--truly scare tactics that the DBM can run with, very slick.

Geithner never ever mentions what happens if we simply just slow down writing checks and live within our means slowly add to the debt ceiling only after cutting the budget never in his meme at all.

The rest of the interview was DNC Dave trying to protect the left from upcoming responses from us and more pap about how zero is too hard on himself more bs more Bs.

Bottom line if Boner trades 250 billion in cuts over a year for a debt ceiling rise of 2.5 trillion or anywhere near that then we will have been rolled again.

How many jobs has raising taxes made? The Rats believe they can scare and demogogue into victory. Only a Repub would fear that strategy which is the same one they have used for 50 yrs.

With voters who reason like the Casey Anthony jury, we are in serious trouble.

Good point.

I believe this election will come down, once again, to the lowest common denominator, and that will be our most easily-swayed ignorant and lazy voters. Folks who vote on feelings and only pay attention the last few weeks. Folks who cannot see the implications and consequences of their votes.

I've seen the tactics of the democrats: Eat the rich, scare the people (Republicans want to cut SS, Medicare, etc), and call their political foes racists.

We've got to counter this. It's the same fight we've been in for years--even generations. The media is on the dems side and the Republicans never challenge them very well. Other than that, we've GOT to come up with a new ground game. Reagan--the Great Communicator, took it directly to the people. Newt and the '94 Repulicans did the same. But we've not done this sucessfully since. Maybe last year, but I'm still upset we blew it by allowing Reid, Boxer, and Frank to get reelected.

My thinking is only Sarah Palin can successfully challenge the MSDNC cabal by going over their heads to the people. If she's not in the race, we're 50/50 at best with any other candidate. Heck, even with her in the race, it may well still be 50/50.

Who says we can’t cut enough costs to get us below the debt ceiling and by careful budgeting, like we all must do, keep it down?

There is no way we can get below the current debt ceiling and continue to function as a country. We will continue to run annual deficits for many years to come, including under the Ryan budget. The objective is to change the trajectory of our budget deficits and eventually get to a balanced budget. The debt ceiling will have to be raised in the short term.

Why would you give a single socialist (main stream old media) a vote on who we want as our next president?

I don't give a damn what they say about Bachman or Sarah Palin, the more they say bad things about these two, the more I will support them!

I don't give the phoney media a single voice on who I will vote for in the next election. They can all kick and scream until theu are blue in the face and I will still support both Sarah Palin and Bachman!

It's the old Media that does not have an audience! Only people who listen to the old media are the socialist, liberals, and illegal aliens.

TomGuy, thanks for the report on Gregory and Geithner.

I believe we are seeing the slow realization of the MSM that Obama is departing, and if they dono’t want to go down with a sinking ship they had best start doing a little reporting instead of propping him up.

Same thing happened during the Carter era. Those old enough to remember will recall the Killer Rabbit mockery, the disbelief at Amy’s advice on nuclear disarmament being taken, etc.

ALSO, regarding McConnell. Before everyone jumps on him about raising the debt limit, please remember that he is STILL in negotiations and that Obama is watching. If he says “no way” now, then Obama will dig his heels in on tax increases, which the left is agitating for right now.

Please have a little patience and don’t go off on the guy immediately.

You’re free to support anyone you want.

I want to support someone whom I believe has a chance—and who isn’t compromised with the Establishment. That to me is clearly Palin and not Bachmann.

Rasing taxes is not about jobs for the Dems. It is about keeping the welfare state alive. It is collapsing around their ears. They want to get past the next election. The reality is that the USG won't be able to maintain Medicare, SS, and Medicaid as currenty structured.

The Dems want this crisis to blame the Republicans for the failure of Obama's policies on recovery. I am in the camp that believes the Dems want to have a crisis on August 2. Obama and the Dems always set these short deadlines and raise the spectre that the world will end if we don't agree to their deal. You have to pass the bill before you know what is in it.

It is exactly the fact that these two (2) do not support the [establishment] elitist is why I and many more Americans will be supporting both of them!
