Boehner blinked. Call. Today. Tomorrow. Daily. Fax your Congresscritter, call them, email them. Tell them NO NEW TAXES. Period. No deals.

Two trillion this year I’d be ok with. Two trillion over 12 years, no way in hell. Get your campaign ready for the primary Mr Boehner.

From what I understand, he dropped out because Obama wouldn’t give up on taxes as part of the 4T deal. If that’s the case, good for him.

$2 trillion over ten years? Why bother when the deficit is $1.5 trillion per year?

Unfortunately our guys would much rather risk being turned out of office -- not to mention ruining the economy -- in order to avoid a tense confrontation with the other side and a few days of negative press that would be enthusiastically countered by the new media, led by Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin.
Doesn't matter. Washington's too comfy and happy a place for our side to stress themselves out.
Unlike the Democrats, who are at war when they are sleeping, and at war when they're awake.

Obama probably told him a sob story about his daddy wanting to put him up for adoption.

More details are needed, but this isn't a good sign. If Boehner negotiates a bad deal, the GOP in the House needs to vote it down.

Nice going, boner. Are you going to pull a McCain and spend the weekend taking photos with the prez and eating hors d’oeuvres? Might as well stay for one of his million dollar parties, too.
