Assault charges have been filed in connection with a violent confrontation in Houston caught on tape between a former West Point cadet and two people in singer Patti LaBelle's entourage.
It was Patti LaBelle's son, Zuri Edwards, who originally said he was the victim in this incident at Bush Intercontinental Airport, but Houston police are not buying that now. In court documents, Edwards is described as an instigator, while LaBelle's hairdresser and bodyguard are charged with assault.

If I were a juror, this young man would own LaBelle’s house and car. She and her rotten son could live under a bridge in CA.
He does appear to be drunk...but there could be other reasons for the way he is walking

They haven’t arrested Junior, yet, even though he was the first one to batter King with his chest.
I wonder how they plan on getting around that. Are they going to claim that King somehow snuck in and altered the tapes?
Amazing.
Finally a little bit of justice in this horrible miscarriage of it.
I hope Mr. King becomes very well heeled with the settlement he receives and that Fatti LaBelle and her “son” get to live in that damn car.
As for West Point, it fell a few more notches in my estimation for having been so quick to both judge and condemn. The two cops did this maliciously. Now they deserve to burn.
No surprise USMA expelled a firstie within just a few months of graduation so as not to offend a has-been black celebutard and her thug posse. And likely no balls to reinstate him as a cadet before he's shipped overseas in the enlisted ranks. Shameful treatment of one who likely would have been a good commissioned officer.
Houston police officers posing for pictures with the @-hole and with the cadet's blood on the ground next to them? Outrageous. Those involved should be fired and criminally prosecuted for misconduct...and probably filing a false report.
Haven’t seen the video, but if he just flew multiple hours and disboarded and is trying to talk and walk getting the blood back in his legs, I have no problem believing a West Pointer over the “civilians”. There isn’t an ounce of Patriot blood in their whole vehicle.
Zumwalt put the swiftboats into action. Pissed Kerry off big time. He didn’t see that coming.
These thugs need a good beat down, Patti needs to write some very large checks and West Point needs to publicly apologize for being so froggy and jumping to conclusions and restore this good mans place among his peers, without further review or delay.
All CHL holders I know (self included) ALWAYS pack when in Houston. Of course airports present some different problems.
West point was right to can him.
This should result in the old hag going to jail and the cadet being reinstated.
AFTER he was chest bumped and crowded by LaBelle's goon.
West point was right to can him.
Sheesh.
Sad but true, and it infects the Pentagon now as well.
Of course Zumwalt was kind of a secret warrior (and one of the most unusual ones), without a lot of publicity because of the nature of his command. The politicians hated him, but could not find anyone that could replace him, and so were terrified of him.
I couldn’t pick out Patti LaBelles face out in a line-up.
Who the hell is she to pick on this fine, upstanding young man?
Hopefully, He continues at West Point, and she pays, big time.
The other West Point attendee who was gunned down at the Las Vegas Costco over a year ago was surrounded by security cameras.
Too bad they all seemed to, “Malfunction,” when he was killed, though.
(I wonder what the latest news about that is)
As someone with extensive knowledge of the place I can tell you that cadets aren’t always the angels people seem to think. They are those that do lie. Not saying that is the case with King, just saying that it does happen.
West Point said they would reconsider his expulsion as per the local rag.
