An alternate juror in the Casey Anthony trials has said that he believes that Anthony was a good mother and that two-year-old Caylee’s death was just a horrific accident.
The sensational acquittal of Casey Anthony sparked outrage across the U.S. as angry spectators compared the trial’s outcome to the infamous verdict in the OJ Simpson case.
But Russell Huekler, one of five alternate jurors who were present for all the testimony and were sequestered with the 12 other jurors, said he would have given the same verdict and is stunned by the public anger.

Reason she put DUCT TAPE on her, so she would NOT have to look at her face, less it convict her of what she did. She wrapped her in the blanket, into 2 TRASH BAGS and then the Laundry bags, all coming from her home, as proven by the State. Then she THREW that bag into a SWAMP.
The family confessed they NEVER even threw their dead dogs in a SWAMP to bury.
31 DAYS she PARTIED LIKE A SLUT, and LIED about where CAYLEE was, taking them down one rabbit hole after another. They gave the opportunity to tell them if it was an accident, she refused that. Now come to Trial and claim it was an accident, and she was willing to spend 3 years in jail for an accident??? Really??
Anyone thinking she is innocent, should have to take her into their homes to be their NANNY.
I can understand a juror concluding there wasn’t enough evidence to convict beyond a reasonable doubt. But to call this woman a good mother??? Unbelievable.

Is this naivete or stupidity? When’s the last time any of us saw photos of child-abuse-in-action? Isn’t that cause for a page in the album? No? Well, then, it must never happen.
Exactly. It may prove that no on on the jury knew what a good mother is! A very sad commentary, isn’t it?

Uh, there was duct tape on a dead child. That is beyond any doubt. What had to be REASONABLY asked is “Why would a dead child, bound up in plastic and thrown into the woods, have duct tape on it’s head?
TO answer that question, you have to ask and answer several COMMON SENSE questions. The ONLY answer that you arrive at is that the child was killed, whetherintentionally or unintentionally. For any juror to arrive at the conclusion that the child died accidently is asinine.
IF the child died in the swiming pool completely accidently, why was the child bound and dumped? There is NO REASONABLE explanation for that, and the defense provided no explanation. THe prosection provided the most reasonable answer - The child was killed. It doesn’t matter by who or how, but the child was killed.
You establish that fact and continue deliberating.
Exactly. The fear that chills your heart when a little one is out of your sight for a moment in a public place... A mother who can party for a MONTH is not oncerned about her child. And probably knows she is not in trouble (but far past it).
The chloroform was an anesthetic (caring mother that Casey was) and a sleep-inducer. The idea, in all likelihood, was to tape Caylee up after she got to sleep, but before she awakened—especially if Casey was still unsure about how how much chloroform to use. No fuss. No mess. No crying, No squirming. What’s so complicated?
Whatever we say, the miscarriage of justice is complete and irreversible.
So no matter what we say, if the murderer is free, then justice has been denied forever.
Take comfort in that if you like.
And if you think we DON’T have the right to comment, or that we are not informed about what evidence has been presented, you couldn’t be more wrong.
There was far more circumstantial evidence to prove that she did kill her kid. The lying, admitting that she knew the kid was dead the whole time(drowned-not likely) after telling everybody that the nanny took her, that she was still out there, etc., her trunk smelling like a dead body,showing no signs of remorse during the whole 31 days, I could go on and on. There was absolutely no evidence other than what was said from her lying mouth to prove the kid drowned! Yet he is more than happy to buy that theory!
These people were and are complete idiots!
Someone has got to put the fire out in this insanity. Mob rule can not be allowed to run rampant. This is really sick and vile. Attacking this jury has got to be the most disgusting display I have ever witnessed. Please for all our sakes let it end.

Well, her mother and her defense Attorneys, would have you believe that:
Little Caylee, choloformed herself, she found the DUCT TAPE, put 3 strands on her face, crawled into not One but Two black garbage bags, then put herself into that laundry bag, (all things coming from Casey's home), then put herself into the trunk of Caseys car, (she was the only one who drove that car).
Then after she started STINKING so bad, little Caylee felt so bad about that, she jumped out as MOMMY drove passed by that SWAMP.
Little CAYLEE did all this, just so her mother would not have to babysit her any longer, and mommy could PARTY LIKE HELL.
To answer your question, YES, the STATE proved all the eveidence against Casey in their case. It was all about Casey and the 31 days, plus HER stinking car, which she abandoned. Not telling a soul until found by her parents.
Since you admitted to ignorance let me set you straight and save you from further humiliation. Casey's charges include SEVERAL lesser charges like endangerment and manslaughter. This group of morons found the murdering slut not guilty on all counts except lying to police! Ok, get it now? These people are total imbeciles.

I wonder how we are defining good Moms today? Any woman can pull some pictures or videos of them being kind to their child. Casey partied on for all that time because she knew where her daughter was... she knew she didn’t need a nap, feeding, a diaper change. Justice didn’t happen on earth but it will happen in heaven.
