The Eliot Spitzer experiment is over at CNN.
The network reshuffled its prime-time schedule on Wednesday, canceling the former New York governor's 8 p.m. show, "In the Arena."
Spitzer lasted less than a year at the network. He began on CNN's prime-time lineup last October paired with conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, who exited in February. The show never made a ratings dent in a tough cable news time slot dominated by Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly.
CNN is moving Anderson Cooper's news program, which now airs at 10 p.m., into the 8 p.m. time slot. Former CNBC personality Erin Burnett will host a show that is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern time.

Is CNN trying to get rid of Cooper?
Good; he’s a meat-head.
NY State voters are the dumbest voters in the country. They could have had John Faso, a pro-life, fiscal conservative, but instead they voted for Spitzer.
Easy on the eyes, too: (That's her on the right).
Thanks. I couldn't think of anything more pitiful or disgusting that they could sink to than spitzer, but you nailed it.
I guess I'm just numb. Have been since 1992, I think.
Comfortably so, by the way.
Make room for the WEINER!!!
Where are the pics of Elliot’s paramour?
Thank you.
“Spitzer lasted less than a year at the network. He began on CNN’s prime-time lineup last October paired with conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, who exited in February.”
The funniest thing is that Parker still calls herself a conservative. She’s always been nothing more than a lib pretending to be conservative:
Parker made news during the 2008 U.S. presidential election when she called on the Republican vice presidential nominee, Governor Sarah Palin, to step down from the party ticket, saying that a series of media interviews showed that Palin was “clearly out of her league.”[3][4][5] Parker received over 11,000 responses, mostly from conservatives criticizing her.[6]
On Larry King Live she said of President Barack Obama: “I’m a big fan of Barack Obama as he came into office, and was not one of those Republicans who wanted him to do badly. I didn’t want him to fail.”[1] Parker does not believe that President Bill Clinton should have been impeached; at the same time, she believes Anita Hill’s allegations against Clarence Thomas.[7] Recently she wrote that the best explanation for Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally is that he is a former alcoholic and that in organizing the event he was displaying the “grandiosity of the addict.”[8] In one of her columns, Parker called Tea Party protesters teabaggers.[9][10] She referred to evangelical Christians in another column as “gorillas,” “low-brows,” and “oogedy-boogedy.”[11]
In April, Kathleen Parker won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Commentary with a selection of political opinion columns.[12] On the MSNBC show Morning Joe she said that “it’s only because I’m a conservative basher that I’m now recognized.” [13][14]
Weiner on a Spitz?
Maybe John Edwards is looking for a job—if he doesn’t end up going to jail.
Spitzer canned. Weiner defrocked (pun intended). Can Schumer be far behind?
Are you referring to ol Hank Greenberg? I'd like to think he had a hand in taking Spitzer down.
Most if not all of what Spitzer charged him with was overturned or thrown out. It's a damn shame it drove him out of AIG - I doubt he would have put up with the crap that went on there after he left.
What did they do with ED Hill who used to be on Fox & Friends? She was on that show too now and then. I think ED Hill scared herself when she did all those specials about the religion of peace. She left Fox right after she did those specials.

Cooper might replace Regis when Regis hangs up his... never mind.
Yeppers. Ol’ Hank is the man!!
Just think on it. He got thrown out and what was he to do?
Revenge is sweet.
I saw him on Cavuto several times and I concluded he has tons of money and there are plenty of retired FBI guys who would jump at the chance to do a little work gathering info.
He is cool as a frozen cucumber.
Never saw the program; never knew what NY saw in Spitzer; never knew what NYC saw in John V. Lindsay either.
All three of his viewers are disappointed.
I predicted Spitzer’s demise at the end of May....
