The Eliot Spitzer experiment is over at CNN.
The network reshuffled its prime-time schedule on Wednesday, canceling the former New York governor's 8 p.m. show, "In the Arena."
Spitzer lasted less than a year at the network. He began on CNN's prime-time lineup last October paired with conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, who exited in February. The show never made a ratings dent in a tough cable news time slot dominated by Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly.
CNN is moving Anderson Cooper's news program, which now airs at 10 p.m., into the 8 p.m. time slot. Former CNBC personality Erin Burnett will host a show that is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern time.

Yeah, CNN is still on the air. And when it comes to real-time coverage they are still the best. Their coverage of the tsunami in Japan was heads and shoulders above any other, including FoxNews.
That said, I never watch them unless there’s some special disaster or military action in a far away place. As for Spitzer, who made that dumb decision to hire him in the first place???
if CNN is looking for another dumb person to replace him they can take Shep Smith, Geraldo and Hannity. Heck, they can take all 3 for a combo deal!
CNN could hire Weiner - show they can showcase a disgusting Democrat too...

I’ll bet the disgruntled billionaire who got the hooker goods on ol’ Eliot dug around in the pile of stuff the investigators found but although bad, was not nearly as bad as being client number nine, and slipped it in to CNN over the transom so to speak.
Eliot will eventually learn, don’t screw with a multibillionaire

I just can’t picture a CNN show with “Spitzer and Weiner”. That would be hard to swallow.
Now a show with that airhead Ann Curry and the boys would make for an interesting title: “THe Curry Weiner and Spitzer Show”. It would definitely leave a bad taste in your mouth.
His father takes the cake though, has the blood of THOUSANDS of NYC residents on his hands who were slaughtered by criminals as he VETOED THE DEATH PENALTY 12 YEARS IN A ROW!!!!!

Nonsense. Just another faux conservative along the lines of David Brooks and Frum. They could have picked a real conservative who understands conservative ideology and was able to articulate it. Instead they chose Parker. Dana Loesch, Lars Larson, or Mark Levin all would have been good choices.
