Top Republican lawmakers have authored an explosive new letter containing details of secret testimony by acting ATF Director Kenneth Melson, which reveal for the first time the extent to which his agency was involved in an international gun selling scandal.
House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican, and Sen. Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican, fired off the letter to Attorney General Eric Holder Tuesday detailing what Melson told Congressional investigators in a secret July 4 testimony.
One key takeaway from the meeting was that Melson acknowledged to investigators that agents had witnessed transfers of weapons from straw purchasers to third parties without following the guns afterwards. Straw purchasers are people who could technically legally buy guns in the U.S. but their intent was to turn around and sell them to drug cartels in Mexico.

Excellent points. I pray you are right about everything. I don’t think Obama and the democrats have just been ‘sloppy’ however.....they have been ‘in your face’ lawless for some time now. Prayers for the forces of good to expose them as the corrupt and evil demagogues that they are.

It will get their attention on it’s own. As much as they decry FOX news, they will not want FOX reporting it with exclusives all the time. Eventually they will realize that with or without their reporting of it, it will not go away. It is going to do massive damage when Issa is done.
You are looking at indictments on the head of Justice and FBI agents now.
No way that Fox will let it slide. As long as they don’t, the alphabets will pick it up. They will not back a losing proposition. And it is going good now, slow, methodical and everything is being done right. There will be no escape.
I think that Melson believes that Obama & company plan on him to be the scape goat & he has decided to let somebody higher up the food chain be the goat .
All this right after it comes out in the press that the Mexican govt. wants to try those responsible in Mexican courts & send folks to Mexican prisons . I don’t believe this is a coincidence .
No we don’t think a RINO POTUS would be as evil, merely unwilling to do anything to clean house. RINO’s are single-minded about preserving their prestige,perks,benefits of high elected office . They are not statesmen by any stretch of the imagination.
