U.S. Officials Behind 'Fast and Furious' Gun Sales Should Be Tried in Mexico, Lawmaker Says
By William La Jeunesse
While the investigation continues into the U.S. operation that helped send thousands of guns south of the border, Mexican lawmakers say they'll press for extradition and prosecution in Mexico of American officials who authorized and ran the operation.
"I obviously feel violated. I feel my country's sovereignty was violated," Mexico Sen. Rene Arce Islas told Fox News. "They should be tried in the United States and the Mexican government should also demand that they also be tried in Mexico since the incidents took place here. There should be trials in both places."
Arce is chairman of Mexico's Commission for National Security, a congressional panel similar to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
His point of view is shared by many Mexican politicians, including Sen. Santiago Creel, a former Interior Minister and the likely presidential nominee next year of the National Action Party to succeed Felipe Calderone, also of PAN.

Ping!
If you want on, or off this S. Texas/Mexico ping list, please FReepMail me.
I love it when a plan comes together.
However it's even odds they'll want some whistleblower instead.
“- Why is the Administration working to restrict gun ownership rights for innocent American citizens via the UN while dumping thousands of weapons into the hands of known criminals in Mexico and the US?”
Sounds like the plan. If the Marxist Obama/Holder puppets answered the question truthfully, the Nation would be upset, and well, ‘they’ just don’t want that.
Excellent questions Raven...
"And what you are failing to realize is that my ship is trailing mines."
And we'll throw in Plugs Biden for good measure.
hello President John B. :-)
Yes, I saw that story on Hot Air.
I wish this story would break wide open, but maybe we’ll get super lucky and it’ll really break out next, oh, say, September.
I mean sometimes things do take an incredibly long time to catch the public’s attention. I should say Mainstream Media’s attention.
But, I’m sure that what that would take would be something VERY BAD happening in the US because involving some of those weapons.
I saw this thread yesterday, and loved the first few replies. Wonder if 0bummer and holder have their bags packed....
Thank you.
It occured to me that it might be a good idea to start asking the A/Gs of the southern border states if they’ll be filing state charges against A/G Holder for the crimes committed with these weapons in their respective states.
Mexico finds itself in an enviable situation. If the U.S. government provides amnesty for millions of Mexican illegals in the U.S., and if the U.S. agrees to treaties which give Mexico favorable trade status, and if the U.S. agrees to cede California, Arizon, New Mexico, and Texas to Mexico, then the Mexican government WILL NOT publicize the many people killed or injured by so-call Fast and Furious guns.
What a windfall for Mexico to have an Anti-American in the White House. How could things get any better for Mexico or worse for us.
What other nations are in possession of information which threatens the Obama administration and guarantees those nations favored status?
