There certainly is a theory (with evidence) about how Caylee died. Its been said that she was chloroformed and had her nose and mouth shut off with duct tape. Only the Defense says there isnt an account.
That is my conclusion as well.

I got stuck the other day on the decomposition smell the dogs found in the Anthonys' backyard. It just didn't make sense that Caylee died elsewhere, was taken out of the car, laid on the ground while Casey was attempting to dig a hole in the ground with the shovel she borrowed from the neighbor. She could have easily been caught had the neighbor stopped in, parents come home, etc.
Fatima had this theory:
I think she was dead when Casey left with her that day.I think she took the shovel to get the bag out of the trunk and toss it in the woods. Then she rinsed it off back by the playhouse -hence the odor hit-.
Here's another. What if she (and/or the mother, Cindy) used a steam cleaner to try to get smell/stain out of the trunk, then dumped the water contents of the vacuum onto the ground? Cleaners used to steam clean the trunk liner could also account for some of the traces of chemicals found in the trunk. One of the experts testified that the presence of chloroform could also be from household cleaners.
Casey backed into the driveway/garage three times the first week Caylee went missing. What if she borrowed the shovel to try to move the body to the swampy area or even attempt to dig a shallow grave there. Either that day or the next time she came over, maybe she attempted to clean out the trunk?
Interview With Anthony Family Investigator Released ..........."Also included in the documents is a letter asking the FBI to compare items taken from the Anthony house in December, when a search warrant was executed. Among the items taken from the house are multiple garbage bags, a
Bissell steam cleaner, Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner, a Bissell spot cleaner and one red gas can with duct tape.".................
There's also this:
New discovery released in Casey Anthony case .........."Since the Caylee Anthony case first broke nearly two years ago, we've seen investigators haul vacuum cleaner after vacuum cleaner out of the Anthony's home. Casey Anthony's mom,
Cindy, told deputies she cleaned Casey's car when it came back from the tow yard because it smelled so bad. In Friday's discovery we learn that investigators tore apart four vacuum cleaners taken into evidence.
Federal Bureau of Investigation lab notes show the vacuums were examined for human hair with characteristics of human decomposition, but, none were found."...............
Now whether it was only Cindy who cleaned out the trunk (as she claimed she had), or Casey, or both.....it also explains the virtual lack of evidence (except a little hair) from Caylee's body.....mainly what was left was the decomp smell.
The vacuums seemed to have been quite clean to not find any evidence, or the use of chemicals could have helped dilute any evidence. Either the Bissell spot cleaner or the Bissell steam cleaner could have been used in cleanup. A Bissell "SpotBot" is a hands-free cleaning vacuum. Here's a link to one that that may or may not be similar to what was taken.
Bissell Spotbot
When authorities seized the car on July 16, I believe they found just a little dirt and a freshener sheet in the trunk......not sure. It could be that Casey and/or Cindy HAD taken some (or all?) evidence out of the car when cleaning it.

“Bella Vita,” (Beautiful Life). My own take is the evil phone call played by the prosecutors yesterday is going to take her down. Casey called her parents from jail (jailed for child neglect) demanding her boyfriend’s phone number. All her parents wanted to talk about was the missing baby. The sweet Ms. Casey screamed: “you guys are a f***in’ WASTE!”

The case...A dead child. A lying, party girl mother who forgot to call 911.
The pool scenario should have never been introduced. It simply didn't fit.

What was that tattoo Casey got and when did she get it?
The tatoo was "Bela Vita" ("Beautiful life"). She got it during the month she was partying after Caylee was dead but before anyone else found out.
It is certainly damning. I think the real question was whether she killed Caylee on purpose or whether it was an accident. Even if it was an accident, if it was the result of her abusing Caylee (duct tape and/or chloroform) then as I understand it it could still be justification for the death penalty.

She’ll need her parents’ help for the penalty phase so she’ll probably blame Baez for the smears. It’ll be interesting to see if she can sucker her parents again.

Fascinating theories! But I do have to laugh at Cindy Anthony’s list of vacuum cleaners. Nurses have such a neurotic fear of germs and dirt!

Someone yesterday mentioned that after she goes to prison she'll need to add "without parole" to her tattoo!

Hey! I'm an IT guy, and the last time I was on a jury I was the jury foreman.

Makes sense. It’s a kind of d*mned if you do, d*mned if you don’t, situation.

I’m sure George will say that it’s all his fault, he was a crummy father, etc. and pugnacious, worst-judgement-in-the-world Cindy will say it’s everybody’s fault EXCEPT Casey. Brother Lee will be nowhere to be seen.

Before the trial began, was she ever offered the chance to plead to a lesser offense..?

Killing by accident is still killing, It’s like saying “I ran her over with the car...and broke a couple of ribs. I didn’t expect her to die though”....when the ribs punctured the lungs....
To: ken5050
Baez is doing it pro bono. Latest figure I heard was 350,000 and counting. Of course with the appeal process costs could skyrocket for the years. Being in Central Florida myself my hope is that they come to a verdict. Methinks, and hopes she gets LWOP. The evidence in my opinion would support that conclusion.

Casey’s explanation for the tattoo, is that it was in memory of her daughter

Actually, no, the premeditation is evidenced by computer searches for “neck breaking” etc, for which her mother perjured herself and tried to claim she made those searches. There is much more evidence than that, however.

Sam, go to a site called ACandyRose.com - someone put a lot of work into many cases on missing people - click on the Anthony link- tons of info, depositions, cell records, emails between family members, etc - chilling stuff!

Mason gave me the impression he was lowering his standards to be in that courtroom with the prosecution and Baez - like he was so much higher on the food chain!
He might be the nicest guy on earth when not in a courtroom, but he gave me the willies!

OH that is a perfect example of the mindset of some of the freepers.... they seem to think circumstantial evidence means “take a wild guess” - I reminded some that even fingerprints and DNA are considered circumstantial evidence because someone has to study and make a determination

If one places duct tape over the nose and mouth that is a premeditated act if it is done while alive with or without the chloroform.
