Israel has agreed to the Greek government's offer Sunday to send the flotillas humanitarian aid to Gaza with Greek diplomats, under UN supervision. The offer is intended to serve as a compromise in order to end the flotilla affair.
According to a separate report, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas also expressed support for the Greece governments offer.

According to the Greek initiative, the humanitarian aid aboard flotilla ships will be loaded onto watercraft of the Greek government and transferred to Gaza via the organized channels, as was requested by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon two weeks ago. This means the aid would go through either the Ashdod port or Arish, and from there be taken to the Gaza Strip under the supervision of Greek and UN authorities.
The Greek government has already approached the United Nations and Israel to assess the possibility of transferring the humanitarian aid via Israel or Egypt to the Gaza Strip using Greek governmental ships, under UN supervision.

What about the weapons that are most certainly hidden on the ships? Will the Greeks offer to transport those too?

There probably are non on these ships and it was all a setup to try forcing Israel into a violent confrontation over what would ultimately be nothing. The terrorists and their supporters would/will then keep sending ‘flotillas’ with no weapons ‘proving’ their ‘honest intentions’. Finally, when the world got/gets sick of nothing happening and Israel stops searching boats, the weapons begin to flow.
The way the current situation has played out, Israel gets exactly everything, the ‘terrorist supporters’ waste time, money and PR helping the terrorists get nothing they really want, and best of all, Code Pink and their fellow Communists get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING out of this at all. No PR, no face time, no brownie points with terrorists,...NADA.
And now there’s precedence - Israel can demand all flotillas be accompanied by UN flunkies, then search the boats anyway. The UN will not want to be caught smuggling arms - so there will be none - And again the terrorists get nothing, nor do Code Pink et all.
Excellent points.
If weapons are to be shipped, they would likely be shipped to Egypt, and then trans-shipped through the now reopened Gaza/Egypt border crossing.
Regarding the Turkish ship scheduled to take part, I’ve read that the Turkish government apparently (and quietly) denied them permission to take part. Methinks the current Turkish government is attempting to maintain a reasonably friendly relationship with the Israelis for the time being.
Copyright restrictions apply downthread as well, thanks.
Bibi and Israel just need to keep the pressure on the UN to either uphold their laws and responsibilities or hammer them publicly at every opportunity.
Bottom line is that no western nation will go to the mat against a nuclear power. Especially to protect a lie told by muzzies. All hat, no cattle.
Those are all the cards Israel ever needs and it never has to show them. Just tell the world to either take care of the problem and quit bitching/demonizing Israel over it or that the UN has abdicated it’s word to Israel and the world membership - so international law is meaningless - therefore Israel will protect itself at any cost and any further aid of any kind given to the so called ‘Palestinians’ is an act of war and “Never Again’ will Jews die needlessly, no matter the cost.
[to the “Palestinians”]
Good move, heading off toward statehood, you silly assed jihadist bastards.
