Hot women like men and men like hot women.
Just guessing but perhaps because you are only thinking in stereotypes? The sort of black and white one-dimensional view that never considers the Samantha Fox, Portia de Rossi, or Leisha Hailey types.
Of course beauty (or hotness) is in the eye of the beholder anyway. Everybody's mileage may vary.

You're hitting on the reason it's a choice and not biological. Their unattractive appearance limits their romance, so they gravitate toward one another in sympathy and need. Understandable? Yes. But also debauched and an abomination. As humans, God expects us to live our lives to His service. Our bodies are a gift, and we should live in respect of that gift. That means we have to be strong enough to overcome the base passions we're born with. That's part of our commitment to Him. They aren't strong so give in. They're apart from God.
I know, I'm preaching. Sorry, but at least it's Sunday...

Well, it’s probably all about the need to look sort of like a man. Which for women, especially lesbians, often means putting on some weight. I have noticed that even for feeling the need to avoid the opposite gender, plenty of them sure put a lot of effort into resembling the opposite gender in simple ways. Perhaps it’s because they actually have traces of something in them.
