A federal court in Tacoma, Wash., has been asked to order that the names of signatories of a state petition seeking to protect traditional marriage be redacted to protect them from death threats from homosexual activists.
The issue is the some 138,000 Washington state residents who signed a petition in 2009 to repeal a law that gave same-sex partners all the legal rights of married couples. The petition forced a referendum vote in November of that year in which voters decided to sustain the law.
But because the state considers such petitions "public records," homosexual activists are demanding the names and addresses of the signers in order to post them on the Internet and "publicize on their web sites, in searchable format, the identities of every person who signed the … petition," according to a new filing seeking nondisclosure of the names.
The groups announcing the plans were KnowThyNeighbor.org and WhoSigned.org, according to the filing.
The filing on behalf of Protect Marriage Washington explains the real problem is the documentation of actual threats that have been made against those who support traditional marriage, a litany of what the Los Angeles Times described as a "vengeful campaign."

I’m not surprised. Look at what happened here in Massachusetts.
I’m sure that a lot of the people on the list are folks who the homos would NOT want to confront.
For a group that claims to want to be left alone and live their lives like normal people, they sure do a lot of demanding and threatening.
In Maryland we sent in petitions to keep illegal aliens from getting In State tuition rates.
Maryland had no qualms about sending Casa de Maryland all of our names.

Death threats, huh? When they’re not committing crimes against nature with one another, they commit crimes against us. When they’ve given up looking for the right place to stick it, they plot the deaths of those who keep telling them the answer. When they’re done passing around their death-sentence diseases, they threaten death those who decline to join in.
The condition of their minds doesn’t surprise me; I read all about it in Romans 1. This is their punishment - and ours, too, for our “live and let kill” attitude.
They are cornering themselves into a sin corner, and the ugly truth about the “closet” being so free is coming out, and they come out swinging. They want to kidnap children and institutionalize them into their stupid lives no one wants to share.

I can't wait to sign that petition. I was neutral on this issue but now have taken sides. I wish some of these limp wristers would threaten me. I"ll mapquest them the directions to my frontdoor and we can then, settle it like men.
He indicates that he was neutral, but it appears that the threats were counter-productive to say the least.

Very well said. Just my opinion: while they claim it, they lie. Truth would have them (generally speaking) say that they wish to remake “normal” into what they are, how they live. Anything/anyone else would be ostracized/removed/euphemismed.
Just tells us we have to fight not only the Democratic party, but all the leftists in city state and county government, and that’s a big chore, but it has to be done.
People overlooked all the city state and county governments, they hired Marxists who hired others and now we’re paying their salaries so they can basically beat us up and despise us.
It’s going to be a long, long fight.
