Dominique Strauss-Kahn's accuser wasn't just a girl working at a hotel -- she was a working girl.
The Sofitel housekeeper who claims the former IMF boss sexually assaulted her in his room was doing double duty as a prostitute, collecting cash on the side from male guests, The Post has learned.
"There is information . . . of her getting extraordinary tips, if you know what I mean. And it's not for bringing extra f--king towels," a source close to the defense investigation said yesterday.
The woman was allegedly purposely assigned to the Midtown hotel by her union because it knew she would bring in big bucks.
"When you're a chambermaid at Local 6, when you first get to the US, you start at the motels at JFK [Airport]. You don't start at the Sofitel," the source said. "There's a whole squad of people who saw her as an earner."
The woman also had "a lot of her expenses -- hair braiding, salon expenses -- paid for by men not related to her," the source said.
Allegations that she worked as a hotel hooker may explain why Strauss-Kahn insists their encounter was consensual. His defense attorneys refused yesterday to comment on the damning evidence -- or say whether he paid her for sex.
Sources also told The Post Strauss-Kahn's probers uncovered evidence that she was part of a pyramid scheme that targeted immigrants from her native Guinea.
"We have people who have been victimized, who have claimed she ripped them off. Nice working people from her neighborhood," a source said.
The stunning new info surfaced yesterday as the accuser was unmasked as a pathological liar and scam artist by prosecutors whose rape case has unraveled.

Dominique first denied that anything had happened, then after the DNA evidence turned up, he said it was “consensual.” Hmmm, fits the pattern, no?

and people forget, that aside from him having a history of attacking women, that initially, he lied repeatedly. he claimed he didn’t even have sex with her.
(and that he had already “checked-out” and was having lunch with his daughter, and that he tried to flee the country, and reports that people tried to bribe her relatives in Africa.)
he’s not stupid. if she was a hooker doing extortion, that is exactly what he would have claimed initially, instead of that he didn’t even have sex with her.
Why did the dude leave in a rush? Something went bad in the room. If he was any other Joe, he’d be taking a plea deal now.

Decisions were made at a high level that DSK can run for President of France. Somebody in France called somebody in America and suddenly the maid is a lyin criminal. Business as usual.
DSK was going to run for President of France and had a chance to knock Sarkozy off.

This has an uncanny similarity to the case of Jumama Hanna - an Iraqi woman refugee who got a Green Card, and much else besides - by giving a vivid testimony about how she had been raped by Uday Hussein.
Her story was investigated in detail by writer Sara Solovich, who found that it was all false. Hanna had no connection to Uday Hussein, and had been sent to prison in Iraq for prostitution offenses. She was also involved in fraud, with taking money to get people visas.
Prostitution ... visas ... rape stories ... prominent men who need to get a pasting in the media (not that they aren't frightful anyway) ....

If there are people involved in this who bring in sex workers and place them in high priced hotels then ... one would not investigate too closely. That is a very lucrative and very ruthless business, with contacts at all levels of society.

But if DSK did indeed assault her, prosecutors in that neck of the woods need to man up and throw the book at him.
