Rush Limbaugh's "Twoifbytea" 4th of July contest
June 30 2011 | Self (supremedoctrine)

Posted on 06/30/2011 7:27:27 PM PDT by supremedoctrine

Did anyone else on FR enter his town to try to win the truckload of Rush's new product "Twoifbytea"?? He's been talking about it for over a week on the radio. The contest ended Wednesday the 29th at 6 PM, and had to be done on the online form at the twoifbytea website. Entrant had to make a case in about 3 paragraphs why their town would be a deserving recipient of the tea, which would be delivered by truck to their 4th of July celebration. THE WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED tomorrow on his show, my guess is toward or at tne end of the show. I nominated my town in Bergen County NJ, and our Historic Preservation group, which saved the John Fell House in our town from a developer who wanted to demolish it and replace it with 11 townhouses on nearly 3 acres, and was to be named , ironically, "Concord Village". My fingers are crossed, would be a neat thing to win this.,

I got this locked by my nomination of Lewes, Del....a quaint pretty town, part of the First state.

I mentioned it was an important part of Sussex county, the county that managed to topple mighty Mike Castle in 2010 never mind the blue upstate.

Also Lewes has a pretty patriotic boat parade in its canal, home of the famous Lewes ferry.

I have no doubt Lewes will be it.

;)

I suspect Rush will deliver the tea, personally, based on his comments today.

Must not be selling well if he’s hocking it this hard. For those of us who aren’t tea drinkers anyway, it has no appeal even if we love Rush.

Must not be selling well

My mailman complains that he's delivered "hundreds" here in purple No. VA.

When Rush said no one would ever guess what his big announcement was, he wasn't lying.

When he said it was tea last week, I was flabbergasted. I'm not a fan of iced tea, but I'm going to order a case, just because Rush helped shaped my young skull full of mush while I was in college 20 years ago.

Hope you get it..been following you a long time on FR. I also visit your blog. Youre a great American and you describe your community in such specific terms that it shouldn’t be hard to imagine it as a place where the whole town can get together and drink Rush’s teas.

I thought he canceled the promotion due to lack of time and instead offered 1776 cases to be delivered free to the first 1776 customers. Or i could be wrong.

I love Rush, and I love iced tea, but at $2 a bottle he can stick twoifbytea.

I was going to order some when he first announced it, but the website was down and now I’ve lost my enthusiasm for it.

Has anyone tried the tea? Is it good...like better than Snapple? Are the bottles plastic or glass?

The one thing that turns me off the most about Rush is his constant hawking of his products. He’s always pushing his own stuff. He kinda reminds me of Sam on the old Texaco Milton Berle show. Yeah, free enterprise, I get it. Ties, cups, tea, newsletters, blah blah blah. I guess he has lots of bills to pay.

The tea is excellent...
I ordered two cases of ODT (original diet tea) and received diet Raspberry by error...sent an email to the site listed and had a response in three minuets from ‘Kathryn'..now I don''t know if this was his wife or not but sure sounded like it and two days later my correct order was sent to me, I had also ordered two cases of diet for my daughter in GA. and they also sent her two more cases...

the service and correspondence was by far the best service I've ever had by computer.

ordered two more cases...go to the local store and pick up a 16 oz bottle of anything and it will cost you two bucks with taxes added plus your trip to the store!!!!
here in the rural country of PA. where gas is still $3.60 a gallon, a trip to town is 17 miles one way!!!
Rush tea sent POSTAGE FREE...

SO I RECOMEND TRYING IT....AND BY THE WAY I'M NOT A RASPBERRY PERSON BUT THE DIET RASPBERRY IS VERY TASTY...and we are tea drinkers.

I ordered a 12-pack of diet regular. I was hoping it wasn’t going to be as sweet as the sugar regular.

It was. It’s still too sweet for me. Probably should have got the raspberry instead.

I hope he makes a non-sweet version. But then again, I have a 3 quart Mr. Coffee tea maker and use Luisianne 48 tea bag pack, two at time, and brew my own.

But I wanted to support the idea and I’m keeping one six pack untouched for a kick. Maybe my grandkids can sell it to some auction hunter in a future reality TV show! lol

Made a fortune with the last wife selling ties.

Would love to know the details of that divorce. But none of my business.

Notice how nothing gets “leaked” about that stuff other than his OxyContin problem? Probably a payoff in the contract to shut up OR sue the crap out of you if you do.

And why weren’t the liberals sympathetic? It’s one mean drug to get addicted too, and for trying to save your body? Hypocrites. Any left wing actor can do worse and be excused.

Doesn’t anyone other than me really enjoy watching the left get a taste of their own medicine? As Batman said to Scarecrow.
