Statement from MSNBC: Mark Halperin's comments this morning were completely inappropriate and unacceptable. We apologize to the President, The White House and all of our viewers. We strive for a high level of discourse and comments like these have no place on our air. Therefore, Mark will be suspended indefinitely from his role as an analyst.
Statement from Mark Halperin: I completely agree with everything in MSNBCs statement about my remark. I believe that the step they are taking in response is totally appropriate.
Again, I want to offer a heartfelt and profound apology to the President, to my MSNBC colleagues, and to the viewers. My remark was unacceptable, and I deeply regret it.

Reasignment orders await Mr. Halperin.
Maybe this is all a set-up between Halperin and MSNBC to create a controversy to bring viewers to that pathetic, unwatched show.
ROFLOL - Note that the other people on PMSNBC didn’t object to his characterization of Obozo - In fact, they appeared to find the comment quite humorous.
I wonder how many have been suspended for saying derogatory things about Bush, Cheney, Bachman, Palin....
He took a voluntary leave...
Double Standard???
That’s what I was going to ask -
would MSNBC have suspended him for calling Bush a “dick”?
See post 28, commandment VII
A Match!
I’m glad I’m retired they can’t fire me for calling him a dick or anything else I wish to call him. On a serious note has any
one else noticed the slow evolution of Obama coming unglued?
He’s beginning to stammer and sound a little unsure of himself
Could it be that many aren’t buying what he’s selling, and he knows it?
Obama going to halloween party, as himself.
Ain’t it a real bi#ch when the supposed free speechers on the left tell even someone on the left that the truth will get you grounded? Go to your room Mark until you can sit at the table and fantasise about Obamalamdingdong like the rest of us regurgitating leftists.
** snork **
He called Cheney a Dick all the time and didn’t get into any trouble.
Would the Left snicker if Chris Wallace posed the following question:
“the rap on you here in Washington is that you have a history of questionable statements, some would say gaffes, ranging from ‘corpse-man’ to ‘57 States’...”
“Are you a dick?”
Michele Bachmann, Chris Wallace, and the flake question

Never watch the show but I did watch the clip to see what the fuss was about. Yes, Mark Halperin accurately described Obama’s actions but he was totally unprofessional in using the word he did. However, I noticed the hosts of that show urged him to do it after Halperin asked if they had a 7-second delay. In effect, they ‘egged him on’, then acted shocked and offended when Halperin used a sexual pejorative to describe the president. Still, it was odd. To diss the Marxist president with a sexual pejorative on a network that is totally in the tank for Obama 24 hours a day was, well, stupid. If you feel that way about Obama, don’t appear on MSNBC, the Obama propaganda outlet in cable news. This will get scant coverage in the liberal media and, fortunately for Mark Halperin, because he was on MSNBC, practically no one was watching at the time so his suspension is mostly window dressing to appease the Obama administration. He’ll be back.
0bama IS a dick, as well as a Communist bent on destroying the United States and what’s left of the free world.
Fire me!
It didnt apply to President Bush
What is the problem? Obama is a dick!
From day one I described obama as ..................The man who promises peace and leaves nothing but destruction in his wake.
He honestly is like a paper doll, unfortunately when that crumbles we are toast.
