As Democratic and Republican leaders in Washington struggled to find agreement on spending cuts and extending the debt limit, Mitt Romney struck a conciliatory note in New Hampshire on Monday by lamenting partisan feuding while touting his record of working with Democrats even the Senates onetime liberal lion Edward M. Kennedy. [...]
At both stops, Romney pointed to the warmth between former President Reagan and former Democratic House Speaker Thomas P. Tip ONeill as an example of what is needed in the Capitol.
I worked with [former Massachusetts Sen.] Ted Kennedy, for Petes sakes, Romney said in Concord, noting that they disagreed on almost everything.

Do we really need to listen to this crap again? Willard go home.
Uh, Mitt, that’s not a ‘selling point’, it’s suicide..........................
Yikes! Talk about a tin-ear!
“Romney Touts Ability to Find Common Ground With Democrats”
Over the past 40 years, all this had meant was bigger, more expensive government and less accountability.
I actually supported him for awhile in the last election - he was far better then McCain but I don’t understand his new positions.
Every time Mittens stabs himself our freedom becomes more secure.
Just go away Willard. Seriously.
George W. Bush also had a talent for finding common ground with Democrats. And John McCain and Bob Dole and George H.W. Bush. Remind me how those worked out.
If Romney could plausibly claim an ability to find common ground with Republicans, then I would listen.
“Common ground with democrats” means that he is willing to kiss their asses and screw conservative values to score points with the democrat/media complex.
Get lost, Willard.
Barf. Barf. Barf.
I will never, ever forget McLame, 20 seconds after being yelled at by the man in the bleachers, “Go get ‘em,” referring to Pelosi, Reid, Frank, etc., saying “I hear you. I hear you. And that’s why we’re going to reach across the aisle...”

“Romney Touts Ability to Find Common Ground With Democrats”
That’s what we’re afraid of.
We are all well aware of his record working with Democrats!
Apparently Romney just doesn’t get it. If we wanted common ground you could put McCain in there.
We need a leader.
Either romney is trying to win over the press or he has had his head in the sand for the last 20 years.
We have no common ground with the dims.
The dim party has purged their members who have any loyalty to this country or it’s people.
Common ground? Appeasing muslims? Destroying the economy to have more people dependant on them? Eliminating our borders?
What common ground?
“Either romney is trying to win over the press”
Can’t be done. Look what it did for Dole and McCain.
That’s why the MSM (Moron Slave Media) love him so. Obama Lite......
Romney once again proves he’s a total ass.
>>Romney Touts Ability to Find Common Ground With Democrats<<
I’ve been wrong all this time calling him “Dole III”. I should call him McCain II.
LOL (I'm laughing so I don't cry), just like our boy Mitt is going to do.
