I know they are leftists, but I don’t know if they stood against Reagan when he was vulnerable in his Presidential campaign.

Do you?

It is the truth.

They will attack her, and her foster kids, as fast as they can.

Exactly, this was what I was looking for.

Folks, Stephanopoulus was Clinton's point man on the politics of personal destruction. It was George who came up with—along with James Carville—the famous “Nuts and Sluts” defense.

Stephanopoulus knows exactly how to take out a person through inuendo, smears, half-truths and lies. It's what he did for Clinton. It was his JOB.

How that translated into an anchors job I'll never know, call it a political payoff, or just what “journ-O-lists’ are good at I guess... I still believe Stephanopoulus was there advising Ben Smith and the others on the Palin attacks...

My response would have been, "Georgie, I'm sure the media's level of coverage of the Obama's will be equal to the scrutiny we receive, right?"

That’s strange. Michelle (Obama) just thanked the press for being so nice and helpful and wonderful in protecting her daughters.

You don’t suppose there’s going to be (yet another) double standard regarding media attacks on children do you? You know, protect the children of the politicians you love and support and attack the children of the politicians you hate?

Actually, the media attacking Michelle Bachmann’s children might just the media’s Waterloo, that defining moment of defeat when the American public finally realizes what execrable swine the U.S. media really are.

Yes, that would be the same media that is protecting Obama’s little brats (and you know they have to be).

The same media who doesn’t think it’s important to report that Michelle’s family trip w/friends tagging along is costing us BROKE taxpayer’s over $750,000 THAT WE KNOW OF!

I do not think that Stephanopoulos realizes that he has a lead allergy.

The interesting thing about Palin is that she has already been excoriated by the media, and they had so little ammo that they had to make up lies and twist things. LOL.

Sarah is now media bullet proof.Bachmann is at a disadvantage. They are just starting on her.

Hey Snuffles, when are you going to investigate or report on the Biden family’s crooked lobbyist empire?

Michele Bachmann maybe made a slight gaffe about John Quincy Adams.

But it could be argued that John Quincy Adams was indeed a founding father.

http://www.answers.com/topic/john-quincy-adams

“John Quincy Adams was the eldest son of John and Abigail Smith Adams. In 1779, at the age of 12, he accompanied his father to Europe. Precocious and brilliant - at 14 (1781) he accompanied Francis Dana, the American minister, to Russia as a French translator - he served as his father’s secretary during the peace negotiations in Paris. Except for brief periods of formal education, he studied under his father’s direction. When he entered Harvard in 1785, he was proficient in Greek, Latin, French, Dutch, and German. he was instrumental in acquiring Florida from Spain and in drafting the Monroe Doctrine. “

John Quincy Adams (1767-1848) was the sixth president of the United States. A brilliant statesman and outstanding secretary of state, he played a major role in formulating the basic principles of American foreign policy.

Sounds like a founding father of American diplomacy to me.

Stephanopoulos is a democratic smear machine.

I didn’t take it as a tbreat, just advice as to what to expect. I would like to hear from the famous foster kids.

Actually, I think the guys who have the darker interpretation have the upper hand here.

As has been pointed out, both the Clintons and the Obamas asked for consideration and protection for their girls, and they got it. Chel didn't become fair game until she began campaigning with her mom as an adult collegian and Stanford grad.

The Bush girls and the Palin kids absolutely got no such similar consideration. Too, it was true 25-30 years ago, when the Ford kids' problems were published and cooed about by the DC hatefest, but Amy Carter, spoiled-rotten brat that she was, was covered by a cone of indulgent media silence.

Actually, the media attacking Michelle Bachmann’s children might just the media’s Waterloo, that defining moment of defeat when the American public finally realizes what execrable swine the U.S. media really are.

I think the public are already past that moment. Consider e.g. the airbrushed photo of Piper Palin giving her brother the finger (she wasn't; she was holding up two fingers). The Letterman smears at Willow's expense. The nastiness about Trig and his Down's syndrome. And of course all the stuff about Bristol Palin and her baby. It's been loathesome, continuous, and unrepentant, except for Letterman's apology.

And as I posted above, I think Little Georgie Clintonopoulos's statement to Michele Bachmann was unfriendly, minatory, and sinister.

Has anyone investigated Stephanopoulos getting a loan for a $650K home from Bank Of America during his days on Clinton’s staff when he clearly didn’t have the required income for such a loan?
