This is interesting. Gay men especially have never been know for their monagamy and those who compare the behavior to heterosexuals just don't understand the scope of difference. We've been told that if only they could marry it would fix things. All the disproportionate drug use, sex abuse, and suicide would disappear and now they encourage young kids to be "out and proud" which increases dramatically their chances of contracting serious and sometimes deadly STDs and for what to push forward what is just a myth.
No one is born gay, there is not one study showing that is the case and even though twin studies have shown the opposite we still have the lie repeated over and over again as if it is truth when it is not. And while no one is born gay they can certainly die that way and having our heads in the sand won't save anyone from that fate.

A committed heterosexual relationship (even unmarried) typically includes the presumption of monogamy, a committed homosexual relationship typically DOES NOT presume monogamy.

My first reaction to the article is that it was no surprise to me that monogamous homosexual males practicing “unprotected” sex were six times more likely to have diseases. Why? Because male “gay” sex is already unnatural to begin with. Whether or not they are using condoms is irrelevant.
They may avoid some infections by using a condom, but let’s face it - inserting a foreign “object” into each other’s rectum is medically and physically dangerous. It is prone to infections as well as tearing inside the membrane wall of the rectum. Why? Because the rectum was not made for sexual activity. The same is also true for heterosexual couples practicing anal “sex”.
This is a no-brainer.

You mean self-absorbed, self-centered, self-serving homosexual men have multiple instances of unprotected sex? Homosexuality is just partner-assisted masturbation.

Not in my house.
My wife and I have unprotected sex all of the time. And I like it. And so does she.
It is not a dirty thing. Well, at least not a bad thing.

There is no such thing as "safe gay sex." That phrase does violence to every word in it.
Every act of sodomy is an act that does physical harm.

Gay young men in serious relationships are six times more likely to have unprotected sex than those who hook up with casual partners, according to new Northwestern Medicine research. This is not a gay thing. The same is true for heteros. When people are in a relationship they believe is committed to only each other, they will have unprotected sex. (Heteros might use the pill or other female birth control, but condoms, unh-unh.) So this is how HIV is spread: gay men OR straight women can still get HIV from their serious partners (who might be cheating, or who might already have been infected).
