Bachmann says never 'a cross word' with Palin
Polutico ^ | Monday June 27, 2011 | MAGGIE HABERMAN

CBN's David Brody interview Michele Bachmann in Iowa tonight, where she insists she 'likes' Sarah Palin and downplays reports, including by POLITICO, about jockeying between the two women:

Brody: “Set the record straight with us on your relationship with Sarah Palin because the media wants to pit you, if not pit you against Sarah Palin they certainly want to compare you two. And I’m wondering how you see it specifically as it relates to Governor Palin.”

Bachmann: “I like her a lot. We’re friends. I have great admiration for her, great respect for her, and we’ve never had a cross word between us. We are friends. And I think that you’re right, I think that’s a fiction from the media. I doubt that the Governor feels that way, it certainly doesn’t reflect my view, and I only wish her well in what she’s doing right now.”

Palin is not a candidate, so the statement was not addressed to her.

Bachmann worked for Carter and the IRS, and is vying to be VP to her “President Romney”.

Are you a man of faith? You troll the Bachmann threads to tell half truths and lies...knowingly.

Bachmann was a young campaign worker and dumped him for Reagan when she realized she was a Republican.

Your assertion she is running for Mittwitt is just a lame lie.

Trenchant: cutting, incisive, vigorous in style.

Of course, Palin the huntress could eviscerate.

Eviscerate: to gut, to tear out the viscera or bowels.

The last two days have exposed her for just how small a bit player she is.

Just the opposite. I'd like to see them both run. Too many petty heel biters on FR.

She wrote an acceptable letter for a pardon and handled Chris Wallace nicely.. any comments on that?

Bachmann wants the job. Palin is indecisive or as big mouth Rollins put it, not serious, big deal.

I've seen them, over the last few years, as an astounding Conservative tag team taking the Democrat down by pieces.

So why the venom?

I see we're back at the same old stand. Oh well..........

I have not expressed any "venomous" statements on any thread here, re Bachmann.

Palin isn't "indecisive" at all; she's doing her own thing, in her own way, on her own time.

Before he was hired by Bachmann, old Ed called Michele "not serious". Funny how a paycheck can change his opinion.

Michele may be "serious", but she is hardly presidential timbre. The last and IIRC, the ONLY sitting member og=f the House to be elected president was Garfield and that was a weird election, not to mention Convention! And Bachmann is no Garfield! Garfield had a far superior CV !

I never did see Palin and Bachmann as a "tag team" of any kind.

og=f was meant to be “of”.

[ Barring that incident, Bachmann will not be an effective president. She is in over her head. ]

Everyone is in over their head running for President.. The job is to big for anyone,,,,

Anyone that's equipped for the job is connected, connected to suspicious sources.. like Obama and Bush.. and the Clintoons..
AND Romney, Hinstman, McLaim, Graham..

Many republican and democrat Progressives jockeying for the job..
OH!.. Yes... republican Progressives.. who have the same ultimate agenda as any democrat..

Bachmann and Palin are different (probably).. well lets hope.
Perry too.. hopefully.. but he could be a sleeper..

I like Bachmann and Palin. Both will be savaged by the media and both would make a much better prez than the current usurper anti-US muslim in chief.

agreed!

I know some people have a need to draw bright lines between conservatives but I have high regard for both of them..... say, I’d love either a Bachmann/Palin or a Palin/Bachmann ticket!!!

That would be (1) infinitely better than the doofuses we have now, and (2) loads of fun as the MSM and feminist establishments would go into hyper-meltdown mode!!

What I see here are a few dozen comments vehemently attacking Bachmann, all from wishful thinkers with no idea if their dream girl is running or not. All this because someone dared describe non-candidate Sarah Palin "unserious" as a candidate!

It's pathetic.

If Palin endorsed Bachmann your heads would explode.

Why not do something useful like figure out the facts of the Bachmann farm subsides/income/etc. story because the press and her campaign are not helping sort it out.

"Rollins also referred to Bachmann as “not a serious candidate” when he was still on the potential Huckabee team..."

He said what about my political savior?

THAT'S IT!!!

I'm never voting for Huckabee. Whaaa!

He's got strings growing out of his back and Rove is pulling them. Whaa.. Whaa!

He just got out of the race in order to help Romney. And to be selected as his personal hair care attendant. Whaa, Whaa, Whaa!

He's not perfect in some meaningless way. Whaaaaa!

He's just a horse in stockings. Whaaa!

And, and... Rollins! Whaaa... Whaaaa... Whaaaa... Whaaaaaaaaaa!!!

(tinkle...tinkle)

I'm not sure if it was from the overuse of antibiotics, the field testing of our new top secret High Denseness Idiot Ray or the spores of Andromeda Strain that damn little asteroid just farted on us... but SOMETHING has caused Derangement Syndrome Disorder to leap the genetic boundary from national politicians to their mere background workers twice (at least) removed.

No known cure yet either. Although, 3 public apologies eight times daily is what most sufferers seem to request for temporary symptom relief.

Looks like the most well known have the highest disapproval rating. Makes sense since its hard to disapprove of someone you don’t know anything about.

I don't doubt Michele will be nice to Palin. That's Ed Rollin's job to attack from the shadows like the snake that he is.

Anything that thinks Michelle Bachmann is going to be elected President, you’re living in La-La-Land.

In a general election against Obama, the vast majority of voters will perceive Bachmann as the extremist, not Obama. Of course you’re free to vote for whomever you please; but for better or worse so is the rest of America.
