MADISON Two agencies are investigating a claim by Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley that Justice David Prosser put her in a chokehold earlier this month - an allegation Gov. Scott Walker on Monday called extremely serious.

/snip/

The separate probes are being run by the Dane County Sheriff's Office and the Wisconsin Judicial Commission, which oversees the state's judicial ethics code. The sheriff's investigation was launched Monday; the commission's was authorized Friday and publicly acknowledged Monday.

This case seems to be metastasizing.

If he’s got a counter charge he better file it NOW.

Gangster gov’t proceeds apace folks.

Do we have any idea how hard the libs will fight to retain power?

I don’t think we can even imagine how far they are prepared to go.

I think that we on the Right are going to have to change our entire modus operandus to defeat these people. And I know we won’t like it, but we have to consider the alternative.

Yup.

At this point, it would appear that Wisconsin will get a new justice on their supreme court. This is now serious enough that either Bradley or Prosser (or both) get removed.

Either she’s lying and Prosser was defending himself, or her account holds enough substance to remove Prosser, or the claims are substantial enough for both to be impeached.

No matter what, Walker would get to appoint new justice(s).

Legislature could impeach him.

“When the commie ‘RATS are out to get you, they’re going to get you.”

No. Rats always lose. Always. It just sometimes takes longer than one would like. The USSR is a good example. What Rats believe is wrong, and what motivates Rats is wrong. They are hateful, spiteful, and dogmatic. These are characteristics that can never pass the test of time.

They can, however, make for a lot of misery in the shorter term.

The commie union thugs have been out to get Prosser. I just can’t believe they can get away with this in America. Unfortunately, this isn’t the America that it once was. It’s a commie police state. If Bradley can’t come up with more than he said/she said, they need to throw her ass is jail.

I doubt that either individual will be sanctioned, much less removed. This incident has already evolved into a left-right battle with one of her supporters corroborating her account while his supporters corroborate his account. Regardless, the incident amounts to nothing but ill feelings on one or both justices. No one was hurt nor really threatened in this incident.

I believe Prosser’s account because she has a reputation for confrontation, he does not have a reputation for confrontation, and he is physically inferior to her.

Legislature is controlled by the Republicans, so that’s not going to happen.

I entirely agree. The left doesn’t care if it ruins your life, or mine, as long as they get their way. It’s all about them, and all about their need to think of themselves as better than you or me. The level of self-centeredness they demonstrate is sometimes beyond belief.

Witnesses???

Some Madison teacher said that after she got her hall sickness pass from the fake out-of-state union doctor, she was walking by an office protesting and saw the whole thing. /sarc

I think we should give the lefties what they want in this case and remove Prosser. Really!!

He is entitled to some rest after all he has put up with over the past 6 months. We get a fresh young conservative on the bench for the next ten years and President Palin has an unencumbered candidate for a federal appointment. What's not to like? :D

Whoa - I had to google her to get a peek. I thought, "She must be some big momma!"

As my kids would say, "she looks like a dude!"

I believe Prosser for all the reasons you mention, plus one more, which I shall deem the “Wiener non-defense” - ie, if things happened the way she claims, why didn’t she call the police?

But I disagree with you that this won’t result in one or the other of them leaving, and here is my reasoning: the leftist cadres seem to be so heavily invested in the fight in Wisconsin that they are going to push this to the point where it becomes a scorched-earth campaign, with no holds barred. They won’t stop until one or the other is removed. If both are removed, the left will take that as an expensive victory, but they’ll spin it as a win.

With the astonishing speed that the union left is losing these sorts of battles across the country, they will step up these tactics going into November 2012.
