Waterloo, Iowa--At times off-message during her political career, Michele Bachmann demonstrated at the launch of her GOP presidential bid that she can be disciplined, especially with the media. (Snip) Her staff repeatedly blocked CNN's attempts to question the candidate after her speech. At one point, Bachmann's husband, Marcus let his elbow do the talking. Instead, Bachmann did a round of interviews with the Iowa media. News crews from Minnesota objected that they were being shut out by their home town Congresswoman. None of that seemed to bother the Iowans

Jim Acosta at CNN is complaining that CNN didn’t get an invitation to try to sabotage the Bachmann campaign? Hey Acosta, try treating conservatives fairly and attacking a few of the leftist politicians then maybe you’ll get a chance at an interview. Thus far, the CNN track record is only slightly better than MSLSD and comes nowhere close to any standards of journalistic decency and honesty.

As to the “sharp elbows” assertion: I can’t judge whether the thrown elbow was proper or not without a little video or the like.

If I were on hand when my congresswoman-wife had just told XYZ reporters that, no, she didn’t want to speak to them just now, and they persisted in physically importuning her, then they’d be lucky I ONLY elbowed them aside. No means no.
