Developing...
The jury has come to a unanimous decision on 18 of 20 counts We are confident that we will not able to come to agreement on the two counts even with further deliberation, the note from the jury read.
The judge said he expects the verdict to be announced in his courtroom between 1 and 2 p.m.
Prosecutors recommended that the verdict be announced even though the jury hadnt reached a verdict on two counts and the judge agreed.
He goes to prison. obama goes to the white house and Rahm goes to the mayor’s office.
The brawl in DC at Howard univ. is fun to watch.
My Prediction is this....They find him not guilty on 18 of 20 and the most serious 2 charges they are hung.Just a guess? It is Chicago
If I am right then they will simply try him again on the 2 most serious charges.
I normally want to fry these democrats, but you know...Bill Clinton is walking around , this guy did not kill anybody, not sure what purpose it serves by locking him up for years.
Hillary Clinton got no time for insider trading.
Credible charges of rape from Anita Broderick (sp) and Bill is treated like he was a Statesman for crying out loud.
All these blue collar/white collar multi year sentences like Conrad Black Scooter Libby etc, serves little purpose, while child molesters get slaps on the wrist.
Just saying... Especially people that have never been in trouble with the law before...speaking of Conrad,Scooter etc...In my opinion both of those guys railroaded...unsure about Blogo`s record...He lost his job...give it up I say
Take all his money, ruin him financially, if needed, but 25 years in prison.. 1 year in prison for people that have never been in prison in their life, is really devastating enough to turn them around./
The child molesters/Murderers and armed robbers that`s a horse of a different color.
Tom Delay should also not get a day in jail, again rail roaded...not saying Blogo is in the same club as Conrad, Scooter and Tom..Am sure Blogo is a low life, but losing his job and money is more than enough.
One of the big problems in this country is that we let people walk for white collar crimes. This guy should be pulling weeds on the side of the freeway.
Leave my Blago alone - he knows where the bodies are buried. I am sure Obama wishes he would go to prison for a long time.
I knew as I posted my opinion, that it probably would not be popular...was just being honest.
I respect opinions other than mine on this, just my opinion.
I will not lose any sleep over Blogo going to prison, trust me! Now on the Conrad Black the other day, seeing him sentenced to more time, that did trouble me.
Your opinion is popular with me!
Thanks :)
LOL.
Speaking of which, has anyone seen Tony Rezko in the last, oh ... three years?
I meant it when I mentioned weeding on the side of the freeway. It's productive. It's needed. It's visible. I want his name on his back to be a public example, one deserving shame and scorn. All of those social forces are lost when he's "inside."
When these guys "get off light," it ends up as justification for small crimes throughout the society, one that really harms a younger generation, deprives them of hope in justice, and teaches that crime pays. Hence, this isn't about Blago as much as it is about them.
“Forget it, Jake. It’s Chinatown”
Or, Chi-town, in this case.
hey, that guy who robbed a bank. he didn't kill anybody so what purpose does it serve locking him up for years?
How many more politicians would more easily become corrupted if they knew they were not going to see the inside of a cell? To hell with that. Any politician who uses his public office in an unethical or corrupt manner should find his a** in a cell while forensic accountants look through every single account they have.
If you use public trust, then the sentence should be triple!
