An elderly woman in the late-stages of leukemia was forced to undergo 45 minutes of additional screenings last Saturday when she tried to board a flight out of Northwest Florida Regional Airport, her daughter told FoxNews.com
Lena Reppert, 95, was to say her final goodbyes to her daughter before she made what would most likely be her last flight to her native Michigan. After eight years of battling leukemia, doctors say she doesn’t have much time to live.
“She said she wanted to be closer to her grave,” Jean Weber, her daughter, told FoxNews.com. “I knew it would probably be the last time I ever see her.

After 45 minutes, the mother and daughter were given two options: either don't fly, or lose the Depend. The women chose the latter.
“I ran with her to the bathroom and stripped her down,” Weber recalled. “I got back to the line and just started bawling.”
Weber said the emotional toll was too much. From perhaps seeing her mother for what could be the last time, to having to see her mother go through all the security measures, “I just cried and said, ‘Please can you let her through, she’s just so sick,” she said.

I think that at that point there will some sort of revolt or protest. It’s interesting to note that all the Left’s screaming about civil rights being abused under Bush but nary a peep from them now.
SandRat beat me to it. The TSA would just add security checkpoints to other modes of travel. Pretty much anything to do with “Transportation”, as the agency’s name implies.
You know, we could stop this in a matter of hours if we wanted to...
The number of people who fly on any given day eclipses the sum total of all .gov employees by many times over.
All we would have to do is either peacefully refuse to fly, any travel at all for 10 to 30 days. No vacations, no business trips etc...
The loss in revenues would be crippling. Not to mention the airlines would be the ones burning DC to the ground, not us...
Or all of us simply refuse to submit to the TSA passenger fondling, what are they going to do arrest all of us?
An imposible task at best...

We could stop this stupidity in a matter of hours.
Obama does not want to subject the Muslims to any undue stress, but he could care less about senior citizens living their last days.
On the other hand Obama believes that people, who are about to die, as a burden and humiliating them is no big deal. (Heard about Death Panels???)

And because zero doesn't want her around using up other people's health-care.

I am getting older, not into nappy’s yet, but I am crotchety and bull headed, I would have dropped my stuff on the spot, told them I was mentally deficient also and given the folks a show.
I don’t think they change those gloves between ‘clients’. So all those bacteria and germs just get passed on and on.
You ever see these TSA nuts - basically, they give them a uniform and they think they are the Almighty.

A pox on these creeps. Obama would treat an aging terrorist better. Maybe he should have just called in Seal Team 6 on her.
The TSA was created in the post-9/11 panic, along with the Dept. of Homeland Security and the Patriot Act. We surrendered a lot of our freedom, dignity and privacy to the government in just a few months - it’s easy to give them up and just about impossible to get them back.
I don’t often cry, but this is so unbelievably wrong....
What have we become? This is too hard to imagine. Lord, forgive them.
One of two things is happening here:
1.) Government officials believe there is a force of evil in the world (i.e., Islam) so malevolent that they would plant a bomb or weapons in a 95 years woman’s diaper, or;
2.) The TSA, DHS, and the Federal Government overall hold American Citizens in such contempt that they would subject us to this humiliating bullshit, to turn us into farm animals feeding their lust for power and money (budgets.)
I believe the second option is the one in play.
Not only are we presumed guilty, we are also subjected to unreasonable search in violation of our Constitutional rights.
When someone does not have the remotest chance of being a terrorist, and that person is forced to remove their adult diaper, that, my friend, is unreasonable search in violation of a Constitutional right.
A bureaucracy has no heart, no soul, no conscience, and will eventually evolve to only serve its’ own purposes.

I’m surprised the Islamists haven’t figured that one out yet. Just load up a few VWs with bombs, crash them into something, and next thing you know, we’ll have roving TSA highway checkpoints that make your average DUI checkpoint look like Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood. Our own government will end up choking us all to death.
