A man was killed and at least 10 people were wounded in separate shootings around the city, beginning with a violent half hour on the South Side.
The one fatality occurred at 10:40 p.m. Saturday in the Englewood neighborhood, one of five shootings that occurred within 30 minutes Saturday night on the South Side. A man identified as Kent Richardson, 55, was fatally shot in the 6200 block of South Laflin Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office and police. He lived in the 1500 block of West 77th Street. He was pronounced dead at 12:43 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Sorry. But I do not feel sorry for the people of Chicago. They elected these bums, thus they have to suffer under them. Those who did not vote for them are the few that are suffering because of it. But the stinking liberals have owned that city since Al went to jail. So, they get what they asked for.
Detroit is armed. Between the voluntary evacuation and armed citizenry Detroit is pretty quiet these days.

Just south of the Chicago city limits in suburb of Dolton, more gunfire early this morning, also.
This is where my parents bought their first home. We lived there until I was 12. White flight happened in the 70s. We used to keep our doors unlocked, kids would play til the sun set outside in summer. I am so sad to see what has become of my neighborhood.
