The Talk Shows
June 26th, 2011
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): 2012 presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.; Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J.; Sens. Jack Reed, D-R.I., and Jim Webb, D-Va.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.; Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C.; House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.; Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich.
Why are people are so freaking obsessed with parsing the word "raised" or about something Rollins said about which the so-called target, Sarah Palin, has said nothing.
Let's talk about more important issues like whether or not Bachmann gets money from the father-in-law's farm or whether it still gets subsidies or what the facts are because she told Wallace they don't get money from the farm (did she mean income of subsidies?) but the same day when Bob Schieffer prefaced a question by saying she gets farm subsidies, she didn't challenge the premise used to claim she'a a hypocrite. This is SUBSTANCE, that other stuff is silliness.
You never know? We may see the 23 foster children on the campaign trail?
Who would've guess it? They're spending (a lot of) time together.
...in a (steamy / aberrant lifestyle friendly :) Turkish bath in NYC / NY State.
Yeah I know she took in teenagers.
I don’t think it’s “silly” to point out that to keep saying she “raised” 23 children is a bit disengenuous. But hey, it doesn’t offend me. It’s a noble thing, not something I could do.
It just gives her critics something to harp on. This past week I read about five big articles complaining on her, saying she did not “raise” these children.
I also believe that if Nancy Pelosi were out and about and claiming she raised yea many children when many of them were with her less than a year, that we’d all be mocking the assertion.
it makes her vulnerable to the selfish word parsers.
I stick to my original observation.
by golly, your right...that is a much better question.
Did you ask him if HE was a flake?
Cain was never mentioned.
Since Cain is mentioned in the actual Des Moines Register as "third" how does CBS explain away their graphic and on-air reporting?
Here's a screenshot from "Face The Nation" as shown at cbsnews.com (clicking will take you to the full show video, poll report at around 1:45 in).
I asked him why he only had a rep establishment panel, the same as Special Report, and why the Tea Party/Social Conservatives were only spoken of in the 3rd person?
So ya, was he a flake was implied
They will just wait until we have the numbers on our side, fix the problem, and then they can complain about us fixing it!
Sad day the way modern politics are run but that's how it is.
Long overdue! Can’t wait to see it.I envy your time to do such things. All I do is work to keep my head above water.
it was either Rush or Mark Levin that tore apart the DBM polls last week. The sampling is so biased the poll becomes basically meaningless. The people they survey bear no resemblance to truth.
Perry hasn't declared either. Americans, at-large, do not even know him yet. I'm afraid you're slicing the pie with a chainsaw.
Huh?
Mr. Wallace, are you a flake?

Will do, first thing Sunday morning...but when does he tape his show, maybe we should do it immediately before then to shake him up before he inquisitions the conservative guest??
I know he’s on Fox & Friends every Friday previewing his upcoming show. So, it might not be a bad idea to start on Saturday or early Sunday morning. Should be a hoot!
