I am sure you are right about the three big issues, but I am terribly concerned about national security and foreign policy.

That’s one reason I wish Bolton would get in, because it would cause some discussion of Obama’s failings in these areas (active destruction is more like it).

Sorry I am late to the thread. I was busy today.

I kind of doubt John Bolton will enter the presidential race but what do I know.

I DO support the idea of choosing Bolton as Sec of State in order to get a firmer handle on our foreign policy and the messages we are sending to other countries. Bolton is fantastic and one of the rare persons who understands more about foreign policy than anyone else I can think of.

The problem is that we need to have the voters understanding what Obama has been doing. Bolton isn’t going to win the nomination and would be an excellent Secretary of State. I want him in so that the discussions will include foreign policy and national security.

Those two issues are really the most important, along with our debt limit. Obamacare can be defunded and smashed. A good president and GOP congress can roll back things to do with budget and the economy. But foreign policy disasters and national security debacles can take a generation to repair. Plus those things get people killed.

Oh bleep! Thank you for the mental jump start. (I was wondering what the “A” was in “CRA”. Duh.)

Well that is a disappointment.

“WHY THE HELL IS BACHMAN GOING ON CBS????” Yeah, I’m sure Schieffer will be even harder on her than Wallace.

When a news show brings on John Stewart you know the shark has long since been jumped.

I believe 0bamacare will also kill people and destroy our healthcare system, but I understand what you are saying.

I’m a big John Bolton fan. He’s one of the few who really knows and understands what we are facing as a country. He did great as UN Ambassador but he did not have the power behind him.

Thanks for the comment. Most people are unaware of this issue.

The problem is that the huge amounts of money involved would have a major influence on the markets. The temptation for political and other mischief would be enormous. Clinton talked about investing the SS surplus (when there was one) in the stock market. Can anyone imagine what the Dems would do with such power not to mention insider information.

I spoke with a long time former Trustee of Social Security about the SSTF. He said if it were up to him, he would eliminate it and make SS a line item in the budget. It would force legislators to deal with the actual costs of the program present and future and provide more transparency and understanding for the public. The reality is that SS and Medicare are pay as you go programs. All the Trust Funds represent are the full faith and credit of the USG to pay the benefits.

FYI: The SSTF and other trust funds are included in the $14.3 trillion national debt as "Intragovernmental Holdings." It amounts to $4.6 trillion.

Excellent analysis Bray just too good.

The battle of good vs. evil never ends and of course in real life The Green Lantern is of course Sarah Palin while the parallax is Zero and the regime.

Parallax goes around sucking up power where ever he can and taking the energy/the life right out of person after person as he welfareizes them while Sarah Palin does her best to spread the word of free enterprise and never show fear to evil if you want to defeat them.

We always win in the end and this time will be no different.

A billion bucks is just the up front money that is legit for zeros campaign. The big money comes from all the free PR he gets from the msm,all the favoritism shown by this group and that and in actuality a chunk of our federal budget which he plays like a broken violin.

How much of the stimulus was used to buy votes with ,we will never know.

Brilliant post and many of us have not forgotten how Michelle runs her campaign. That alone show very poor judgment. Also her tendency to personalize everything in stead of putting things in perspective of “what is good for the country” as a true managerial type would, is also bush league.

Thanks RG, I like your comparison. You will like to know I am writing a novel about that very subject. It is really a fun story with some great characters.

However at this point, your candidate can only rise to the top when Gov Palin is excluded. But I am still sure they will make them up if they cant find the result they are after.

I do not believe there is any “science” in political polling when done by Partisan media outlets as they all are, even if my candidate is on top.

Well said!

Not asking anybody to agree with me, this just happens to be a deeply held belief I have...If the LSM pollsters fail to get the results they are after, they will go to ANY length to get what they want.

We all know they can get any result they like by simply asking more democrats or more ind that they know lean left etc.

But I am saying, ANY of these pollsters, regardless if it`s Ras Opinion Dynamics or NY Times etc, are capable of just putting out phony polls, made up..whatever.

It`s not like it`s against the law to make up phony polls, nobody is going to jail.
