What I can say is this:
Not a member, nor am I particularly fond of them. However, they leave me well enough alone, and I respond in kind. I don’t have to see them parade in a lewd manner down main street as some groups do, if there is anything I have to hear from some missionaries trying to knock on my door, at least, and I stress at least it’s someone asking me what I care about God, and I respectfully disagree and say no.
They’re not all bad, but I don’t agree with them either. Sufficient to say from at least those I known, most of these posters decide to get all stereotypical and act as if some of us have never had to deal with one, and well, whatever “solution” they are not clearly advocating, it doesn’t sound rational or reasonable, nor does it sound as if they are trying to tell me something I don’t already know, either. I know how “bad” or good the group and ideas are, but I would have no trouble with:
1) Be the good neighbor to one
2) Persist in doing so
3) Still keep my own beliefs
4) Repeat as neccessary
Most of what plenty of these posters seem to indicate is as if I should be scared of them, well, frankly, above the childish assertions, I am not scared in the slightest.
Mormons are only human, and I believe that fact fully, I also don’t think they are all evil or beyond me being their friend at the same time.
