He apologized 30 hours later.

It’s obviously how deeply touched he is by our military’s loyalty and sacrifice for American freedom - what little he does is simply a photo op to gain another four years of power over the little people.
You gotta wonder what was going through those guys’ heads when he gave that speech. They can’t be disrespectful. They were a captive audience and they could not even respond. I felt so bad for them. Wonder what the conversation was after he left.
He couldn’t ad-lib a fart after a baked-bean dinner. — Johnny Carson
In a runaway Obama bizarro-America all of the Armed Forces are 100% Islamic.
Now just for a second imagine to what heights would Obama then crow about soldiers of Allah?
We all know what his chosen faith is, and it sure aint American!
If you have met one Medal of Honor winner you have met them all, they are so much alike.
:?
You gotta wonder what was going through those guys heads when he gave that speech.

To the fake president dressed in the usurped title of “Commander in Chief”, the military is merely a political tool to advance communist world control.
I wonder what will be going through the heads of our military when they are forced, under military order, to march in the San Diego homosexual parade.

( There was a reason that our Founding Fathers made “natural born citizen” a requirement to be Commander in Chief. )
Is there a military ribbon or medal these soldiers receive for having to endure a photo op with the Kenyan?
As he goes wandering around the country on his campaign trips he always seems to find a reason to be there so the Demmies won’t have to pay for the plane ride.
Nothing. Empty suit, empty head.
Imagine, receiving the Metal of Honor for your son from the likes of him.
It would ruin the honor for me.
in such a situation, where political types are using you for a backdrop, falling asleep, sitting backwards, or any other obvious position that screams ‘i don’t want to be here’ in a photo would be a good response

Our Constitutional Republic is in danger every minute this petulant cipher continues in the White House. |
Last May, Governor Palin delivered a powerful speech to the Tribute to the Troops benefit, at Colorado Christian University. Speaking on Sgt. Guinta she said:
Let me give you another example of victory, among thousands of examples that we can think of in our military an example of the heroism over the years. One of Colorados newest residents is Staff Sgt. Sal Giunta, and hes a new resident in Fort Collins. Hes the first living service member from the Afghanistan or Iraq conflicts to receive the Medal of Honor. He was a rifle team leader in Afghanistan; and on October 25, 2007, his unit was ambushed shortly after nightfall. Sgt. Giunta described it: There were more bullets in the air than stars in the sky. A wall of bullets at everyone at the same time with one crack and then a million cracks They were close as close as Ive ever seen. But the sergeant kept his cool and relied on his training. He fought off the insurgents and rescued several members of his unit, including an injured soldier who was being carried off by the Taliban. Giuntas squad leader later praised him saying, We were outnumbered. You stopped the fight. You stopped them from taking a soldier.
When he was notified that he was being recommended for the Medal of Honor, Sgt. Giunta was humble. He said, If Im a hero, every man that stands around with me, every woman who is in the military, everyone who goes into the unknown is a hero.
Why do these American heroes go into the unknown? G. K. Chesteron once wrote that the true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him. They fight because they love America and they love the ideals that America represents. What America stands for is liberty, and justice, and equality, and the empowerment of the individual.

Throughout my service, first as a senator and then as a presidential candidate and then as a President, Ive always run into you guys. And for some reason its always in some rough spots.
First time I saw 10th Mountain Division, you guys were in southern Iraq. When I went back to visit Afghanistan, you guys were the first ones there. I had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasnt receiving it posthumously.
2012 cannot come soon enough!
Good post. Notice how Gov Palin calls the soldier by his rank while Obama doesn’t.
Also, I left this out because of time, but Obama hugged Sgt Giunta instead of saluting him which was expected of him.
Yes, I noticed that the President used the much less formal “you guys” when he turned to the soldiers. One cannot but think of Mada...sorry...Senator Boxer.
I also noted that the very uneducated hillbilly from Wasilla quoted G.K. Chesterton. I guess she did not know how to pronounce his name. /sarc
He’s dumber than a donut.
