Almost everybody has a “sweet deal “ with Quebec Hydro. They have worked assiduously for a monopoly position in the industry and are well on the way to acheiving it. They will later name their price and force people to pay.I know Quebec Hydro very, very well. They almost succeeded in taking over New Brunswick Power last year in an attempt to cut off competition for power export to New England.

I have to laugh about all the bunk published by AP in Vermont newspapers about Tritium leaks nationwide.None of it has been found in public ground water, and Tritium is a rather innocuous and easily traceable compound. It has not been proven to cause any illness in human beings in minute quantities either. It is used on watch faces to glow in the dark, worn by billions of human beings. The MSM is so down on the nuclear industry, its interesting to watch them try to invoke panic to get their way.

Vermont Yankee is about to get a very comprehensive renovation with a recharge of fuel next year, and the left knows it. They want to destroy the plant for ideological reasons before the new work on the plant is completed. The left also has worked to defame and promote local hate against the engineers who work at Vermont Yankee.Where are the Civil Rights mavins? The entire group of anti Vermont Yankee village idiots needs to be raked over the public coals.Tar and feather the lot of them.
