Delta Air Lines' plan to add Saudi Arabian Airlines to its SkyTeam Alliance of partnering companies would require the American carrier to ban Jews and holders of Israeli passports from boarding flights from New York or Washington bound for Jeddah, prompting outraged accusations of illegal religious discrimination.
The issue, which has caught the attention of the American Center for Law and Justice already, was raised when Washington attorney Jeffrey Lovitky was perusing airline procedures for travel.

Wasn’t it a Saudi flown airplane years ago that was flying into Texas to see President Bush and the pilot and crew refused to talk to a “female” air traffic contoller?

I think this is an overreach in divining the downstream possible policies.
As fun as it would be to point and scream “anti-Semite!” this doesn’t pass the smell test.

Should have adopted a “NO SAUDI” fly policy on 9/10 2001 would have saved thousands of lives.

This is unacceptable for a U.S. airlines. I will not fly with them again until I can be assured that they are not complying with this vile Saudi hate policy. Likewise my family will not use the credit cards we have that are associated with Delta.

According to the letter in response, Delta says they do not discriminate, and there will be no barriers. However, they also state that they cannot usurp the laws of other governments, and where Saudi Arabian laws apply, they cannot stop them from being applied. So, if you are a Jew entering/leaving SA on a Delta Flight, don’t expect that seat reservation to be honored.
What airlines do Jews currently use to fly to Jeddah?
I think that’s the point. It is a violation of what passes for “law” in Saudi Arabia that Jews, or any Israeli, excepting Israeli Muslims or Palestinians with an Israeli passport, try to enter Saudi Arabia at all.
So if an airline wishes to fly to Saudi Arabia, they must exclude such people at their destination point.
No particular reason to get excited about this, as Delta can fly Jews and Israelis anywhere else.
I might add that the US no-fly list excludes a lot of Muslims from coming to the US, even though they have only vague association with anything terrorist.

The dripping sound you hear is lawyers salivating.
As a Jew I am hardly disturbed by the thought of a Saudi Airline not welcoming me. Frankly, I wouldn’t think of boarding a Saudi Airlines flight from New York to Jeddah to begin with.
WND has a tendency to turn a toothpick into a log cabin and they lost credibility with me quite some time ago.
If Jews were allowed, why wouldn't they? There are any number of Israeli's who would like to object to Muslim bigotry by walking the streets of Jeddah, it's just that the risk is to high. So, bigotry will continue, no thanks to people who accept the no-Jew policy.
