Less than a month after she appeared poised to shake up the Republican presidential campaign, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has once again receded from the 2012 limelight. When Palin launched her "One Nation" bus tour on Memorial Day amid a swirl of media attention and excitement from her fervent fan base, many political observers who had once dismissed her were reminded of the jolt that her candidacy could provide to what has thus far been a relatively sleepy GOP nominating fight.
Did you even read the article you posted?
During the initial stage of her bus tour three weeks ago, Palin said that it would still be weeks before she would make her presidential decision, and her husband, Todd, concurred that the final verdict was “a long ways away.”
“They whine when shes on the tour. They whine when shes not on the tour.”

LOL, so true. :) She seems to get the media all wee-wee’d up. ;)
I love your graphic on this topic, Kent. :)
Haley is for whatever is best for Haley on a given day.
LLS
“Speculation” is not news, and not necessarily the truth either.
bttt
LOL.
Why would you figure the bus tour would be in Iowa by now? If you were paying attention to what she was saying, and not what the media thought she should be saying, the answers are all there.
It is King Salmon season up here on Bristol Bay. The Palin’s own a commercial fishing rig and the season is short.
Maybe they are up here fishing before the season is shut down.
That WAS kind of mentiuoned in the article.
Just making up a story out of whole cloth. I was, ah, deeply amused, with the poster who “figured she’d be in Iowa by now. Why the delay?” As someone has already asked, how did he figure that?
I keep asking these people where the hate comes from. What is it exactly that inspires them to viscerally hate Palin? No printable or enlightening responses so far.
LMAO!
Sarah Palin
Drapes may be “pissant” in drag!
ping
Pissant was down right nasty, dishonest, and over the top all the time. I haven’t seen Drapes do that (yet).
they keep saying she would be better off as a ‘kingmaker’ and not run on her own...
But what would really happen is that if she were to declare she was NOT running she would be shelved as irrelevant from that point on, by the press AND THE GOP (otherwise known as Democrap-Lite)
I received one of those fundraiser letters from SarahPAC, offering a DVD of “The Undefeated” for a $100 or more donation. We sent $125 immediately.
You and others are confusing RR’s general campaign kickoff with the one for the party’s nomination. The Labor Day 1980 announcement came after he had received the Republican convention’s nod and the defeat of Jimmy Carter was only 2 months away.
My opinion is that Sarah will not run this year.
(Try Stalkers annonomous for help)
The thing we have to make sure we do with Palin is make sure SHE DOES NOT become a victim of her own Press. they keep saying she would be better off as a kingmaker and not run on her own... But what would really happen is that if she were to declare she was NOT running she would be shelved as irrelevant from that point on, by the press AND THE GOP (otherwise known as Democrap-Lite)What are we supposed to do? That's kind of up to her, isn't it?
I think she's way ahead of us all on the subject of what factors are involved in her decision.
And I think you're wrong about her being shelved. She wasn't running for anything in 2010 and she wasn't shelved.
If she decides not to run for prez in 2012 it will be natural that she's less in the limelight than the actual candidates. But that doesn't mean that she's "shelved".
But anyway, whatever she does, it is up to her...
And I support her in whatever her decision is. If she runs, I contribute to her campaign and vote for her.
If she doesn't run, I listen to what she has to say about those who are running.
True, yet we know how Palin revers Reagan, and if there was any time to take ques from his history, Labor Day, given the high unemployment numbers, is the perfect occasion to harken back to days of prosperity.
I’m also not convinced she’ll run, though I’d lover her to. But, as everyone should know by now, the lady keeps her cards close to her chest and her strategy is anything but conventional.
