Less than a month after she appeared poised to shake up the Republican presidential campaign, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has once again receded from the 2012 limelight. When Palin launched her "One Nation" bus tour on Memorial Day amid a swirl of media attention and excitement from her fervent fan base, many political observers who had once dismissed her were reminded of the jolt that her candidacy could provide to what has thus far been a relatively sleepy GOP nominating fight.
Supporters of these candidates probably should spend their time worrying about all the other peccadilloes their candidate may be hiding...
Nailed it. EJ is pwned once again........
I find what she does fascinating. This move (or non-move) is true-to-her-form: it’s politically atypical, unexpected and unexplained. I still have the impression she is on course for - - - something. But by keeping everybody in the dark she keeps her opposition off balance and unarmed.
Just watch.
Palin just wants to pi$$ you off... and it worked!

;)
In her show, she had said how much they love the 4th of July in Alaska...and it may have something to do with the family fishing business too.
But I love it when she reloads; it’s always worth the wait.
C4P noted that she would make her Iowa appearance to coincide with the movie debut there.
The media always has their BVDs in a wad about Palin, so she just jerks them another wedgie.
It was calculated to be personal too....
:-)
Why does Palin need to say anything when all of Obama’s actions provide her with all the factual ammunition to guarantee she’ll blow by Obama like he was standing still?
Hit piece? Didn’t RCP have the scoop during her first bus tour? There’s nothing negatvie in this piece.
I believe that was mentioned as a possibility in this piece.
That makes sense. And doesn’t her movie come out in theaters mid-July? But I thought I read somewhere that the bus tour would be in Iowa in June. Hence my surprise. I guess I read wrong.
As Uss Alaska implied, it did excite you though, yes?
Yes absolutely... and Todd thought of it!

“Theres nothing negatvie in this piece.”
There is you.

>>> Why the delay?
Between Bristol’s book coming out now, and Levi’s book coming out shortly, perhaps it just seemed a good time to go to ground.
This is NOT a hit piece.
Scott Conroy has been scrupulously fair to Palin in the past.
This piece means that Palin’s people have stopped leaking to anyone, including him. Something is afoot of Conroy can’t get any leaks. Conroy is good, real good. The Palins leak to him because they won’t get a hit piece out of him.
They are probably moving up their timetable to Phase II, but are letting people like Bachmann go first.
Not convinced that Perry is in it, btw.
Best,
Chris
It’s hard to imagine someone taking the time and effort to sit down and write such a pedestrian piece...
This article seems to contain a lot more speculation than fact. The reference to Gov. Haley is curious as the last thing I read had Governor Haley rather lukewarm on a Palin run anyway.
It's not particularly favorable either and it is kind of snarky. The author may have been fair in the past, but is only offering conjecture at best here.
Drapes doesn't post Palin articles that don't cast a negative light on her.
Best back atcha.
