NEW ORLEANS Republicans head into 2012 united in their disdain for an unpopular, Big Government-loving, internationalist president.
The name of that president: George W. Bush.
From Capitol Hill to the statehouses to the presidential primary, Republicans are turning their back on almost every important accomplishment of the Bush administration.

” Furthermore, the number of aliens in Reagan’s amnesty was about 3 million, while bush was about to give amnesty to tens of millions. What do you think 10s of millions of imported leftist voters would do to this nation? “
FINISH IT OFF!!
Two peas in a proverbial pod. Both equating your own opinions with morality. Both treading on dangerous ground.
As for the 'threats,' shirley, you jest. If you read a 'threat' into my last post, you have more problems that I imagined you did.
Enjoy your groupthink, your alliance with the left, and your self-adoration.
And I will continue to admire people whose character deserves admiration and stand alone against the onslaught of mindless BDSers, if that's what it takes.
btw, my comment about Medicare ended with a question mark, indicating that I wasn't sure. You have continued to mischaracterize what I said as something that it was not. Intentional, I'm sure. In observing BDSers over the years, it's quite obvious that you're not a high IQ group, but even you aren't that stupid.
Aside from his reaction to 911, Bush was exactly the President he always said he would be, going back to his campaigning in 1999.
Thanks for the warning, I will watch him closely. I have NO intention of trusting any of these 'candidates' on anything. I actually believed in GWB 11 years ago after the sale pitch(s) by those we are supposed to be able to trust, and I wont be fooled again..
I know that BDSers don't care about facts and all the stuff that gets in the way of their undiscriminating beclouded template, but I'm putting it on the thread for the record.
I opposed the plan.
Don't even mention the increase casualties in Afghanistan and all of the other "wars" we're involved in now.
unless you are a welfare queen or a rabid anti-American, things were MUCH better during the Bush years.....
Good point, sis.
If you can't appreciate the pure beauty of the violin after hearing this, something's wrong with your ears.Or you can get raw with these strings. Either way, the violin is sweet yet lethal.
Do it!
I’m with you. Consideration of other is a dying art. It’s so refreshing to see someone utilize it with all the friendship and love exhibited here.
Good call.
"USA Freedom Corps?" Gimme a break.
Actually, you're a bunch of far more worse things than that, but I won't say what those things are, because then that would truly be name-calling.
I am glad that George W. Bush is no longer president. I'm just disgusted that his replacement is equally as bad!
FUGWB! FUBO!!!
I hear you. I do hold Bush responsible for those things. I think he did them to try to be liked and fit in with the political culture. All that “compassionate conservatism” crap. That’s a reason, not an excuse. He wouldn’t defend himself on Iraq either. That’s all his fault.
GW Bush caused my hemorrhoids!
“I’m just disgusted that his replacement is equally as bad!”
Equally as bad? While I freely admit that Bush is a failed President, Obama is far, far worse.
for me it was just grinding of teeth and some permanent lines on my brow. Oh, and I cursed a good bit in frustration, too.
You really can't say anything worse than the lies you've already leveled at me in the past, rabs, so you're not much of a threat any more.
Once you hit the bottom of the barrel and started swimming in the slime you made up in your pre-pubescent head, you ceased to be a problem for me, and therefore are of no concern. You can't get any worse than you've already been and survive on a forum with rules of conduct.
Oh....and incidentally.....I only converse with actual conservatives, and you don't qualify by any definition of the word.
Bye, bye. :)
An act to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for a voluntary program for prescription drug coverage under the Medicare Program, to modernize the Medicare Program, to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow a deduction to individuals for amounts contributed to health savings security accounts and health savings accounts, to provide for the disposition of unused health benefits in cafeteria plans and flexible spending arrangements, and for other purposes.
So GW made sure that the IRS no longer punished those who saved fro their own health care ..... sounds incredibly smart for a dumb President. especially since it is impossible for anyone to do all the conservative utopian things that you and your friends want someone to do.
I’m there brother...
LOL
