Bachmanns newly installed political team has had its own battles with message discipline typified by campaign manager Ed Rollins recent comments alleging that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin hasnt been serious over the last few years.
After the incident, Bachmann was very firm with Rollins, according to an adviser to the congresswoman, telling him this should not happen again and that there should be no more press. Bachmann also demanded that Rollins call the Palin people and apologize. She is definitely not tone deaf, the source added.
Bachmanns move to limit her exposure in the wake of her debate performance is a smart strategy designed to avoid accidentally trampling on the momentum she built with that performance.

Such is Palins conservative cachet among the base, I think, that not even Michele Bachmann would feel completely safe from charges of RINO-ism if she had let Rollinss attack slide. Already Ive seen her dismissed by a few people in the comments here and elsewhere as some sort of stalking horse for Romney whose mission is to clear his way to the nomination by siphoning off votes from Pawlenty and Palin

>> “How many people even heard these comments?” <<
.
The 22 million that listen to Rush, and the 3 million that listen to Hannity, for starters.
>> “We should know better than to play these stupid games by now.” <<
.
Then why are you playing them?
Its you that wants to pretend that Bachmann could actually be a legitimate president. Were she to get elected, she would be the GOP Obama, doing everything the NWO gang wanted.
Yep, the Bachmann camp went to the Post with this story at the same time they posted Bachmann’s taking Romney to task on abortion—only after her stubborn refusal to even comment on Romneycare when repeatedly asked made her game too transparent. Now they’re trying to cover it up a little.
>> “Palin also resigned her job that was her claim to executive experience” <<
.
After accomplishing more in 2 1/2 years than any other governor in the state’s history did in all their terms.
Okay, thats fine, but the term is 4 years. That is what people voted for.
>> “Who are you going to support if Palin never enters the race?” <<
.
Palin was the first candidate in this race, and remains the only candidate qualified to be president of a country in this much Doo-Doo.
>> “Why did not Palin order her people to appoligize publically for slaming Michelle as having ‘no executive experience’ which kicked off the whole mess?” <<
.
You’ve just made a fool of yourself - Again!
(yea, we quit counting too)
Palin was asked in an interview what the differences between herself and Bachmann were, and she simply responded truthfully.
What’s to apologize for?
PDS infection?
Take two APC (anti-palin capsules) and commit suicide in the morning.
They’re not Bachmann cultists; they both know that Bachmann has proven herself barely qualified to be in congress through her many recent faux pas.
They both just want to stop Palin from undoing the damage that has been done to this country. They’ll sieze any opportunity toward that goal.
Now you add blasphemy...you really do need prayer.
I don’t understand apologizing for the truth either.
I don’t care if you like Bachmann. I think Bachmann is a far better candidate, at least she is one, and I am not into your litte fabricated conspiracies.
You all sound silly. We are at an impasse.
Good evening to you.
What they didn't vote for was $2 million taxpayer dollars to be spent defending from the left's deranged ethics complaints and the Governor and staff using time to fight the silly complaints. Had she stayed in office and the state had to spend more defending the frivolous complaints you'd be yipping about that.
As neither do you.
She knows.
It does not matter to me whether you agree with the political hack or not. It’s his job to fool people just like you. What matters to me is that good people are being played and they either don’t see it or don’t care. Neither of those responses builds any confidence in their ability to properly evaluate and handle situations as they arise.
I’m sure as I know I’ve told her before BUT there are people that read FR that have not read that.
Especially the ones who've had it explained to 'em a dozen times.
I would have believed that a week ago, now it's really hard to do so. She hired a non conservative campaign manager, she refused to repudiate a RINO when given the chance on a silver platter, and now she delivers a fake private apology whilst serving her paid masters.
Only a cultist wouldn't see that.
