I've put together dozens and dozens of "sound proposals" in my career(s). I know what they look like and they do not look like tweets or FB essays of three or four paragraphs.
If you want to argue the semantics of policy papers vs. sound proposals go ahead but it will not change the fact that she has put forth neither.

The vanity poster made a dishonest claim. I called him on it. He ducked.

Certain freepers have worked energetically to create a mythical Sarah Palin. They post all kinds of un-substantiated nonsense and know that certain others will not only buy their claims without question but will attack anybody with the nerve to call them on it and ask for proof.Very true, and we call you and the rest of the ne'erdowellers on it constantly.

Did you read the lastest book about Palin by her former staffer? You really should, it does a lot of the stuff you mention in the quote above.

But they won't, as was proved in New York with Scozzafava and in Delaware with Rove's very memorable shreiking hissy fit that went on and on, on national television, for weeks.
The game is thus: an establishment-approved candidate wins the primaries and loses the general election, it's the conservative "purists" who are to blame for the loss, not their uninspired candidate. A conservative gets in and loses, and it's the conservatives "purists" who are at fault for supporting an "unelectable" candidate.
You can't win with these guys, literally. Best to just turn the tables and start destroying them. They're behind the curtain and out of the public eye for a reason, usually, so they're quite vulnerable to scrutiny. Otherwise they'd be feeding their very large egos by running themselves.
