We have evacuees living with us for the duration. The fire swept past their place, we hope. They live directly across Hwy 92 from Karol George. Karol managed to get most of his livestock moved to Benson.
One of the TV shots shows the Canyon General gas station and the bare frame of a new pizza joint going in, with flames in the prairie in the background. That’s Karol’s place.

I'm going to try something, don't know if it will work or not. This is from a friend of a friend's friend's Facebook page...someone said it looks kinda like a volcanic flow...I think it's from last night.
