It’s looking as though the fix is in. I don’t know who Ras is polling, but, it ain’t me, nor millions of others.

If you have not done so, go to Conservatives4Palin and read this article and then read the comments. "Classic Malcolm Gladwell: Underdogs Must Ignore Conventional Rules to Win"

This is one of the best articles I've seen and it does apply to Sarah. The comments are so much more positive that I came away very optimistic about Sarah. The folks there are sure she will run and that she will win and they say how she will do it.

Well bless your heart.

Now YOU'RE even quoting Palin. I *knew* we could turn you around! :-)

Cheers!

Why “nice try”?

For implying that the survey should automatically be taken in good faith.

Palin can make the GOP the third party if she wants to.

Sarah has the five stones.

1. Faith in God
2. Certainty of opposition
3. Courage
4. Meaningful preparation
5. Unconventional weapons

These are the five stones that David used against Goliath.

Hey cool, that 3 more than any of the other candidates.

I think Bachman may have one of Romneys as a keepsake.

Sorry, you made a great biblical reference and I could not resist.

I scanned it, looks good.

I like the comparison to David that you posted

Right on :) Glad we agree

Ya do not get me started on Frank Luntz! Prior to a few years at Fox, he basically was 10+ years at NBC etc. He always has more dems in his groups as well. Putting the buzzer in peoples hands???

I just report. It doesn't matter how large the college republican crowd is---the point is, if they aren't enthused, how can you expect the Obama Zombies (who are the majority of students) to be?

As for education, it's a daily process, but no, I do not actively campaign in classes for any candidate. If students ask to make a pitch for volunteers I let them. So far, the only one (last semester) who did so was a Mitch Daniels kid. I was the sponsor of YRs, but I'm not on campus enough anymore to be a club sponsor---it's unfair to the club.

Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I would even vote for Ron Paul over the anointed one. But I think Palin supporters ignore this hostility by women at a cost. It is real.

The five stones idea is not mine. I got it from the article I referenced. However, I sure would like to spread it around.

He’s [Luntz] nothing more than an opportunist who happened to get the attention of a Fox news TV host.

I just heard Rush comment on this Rasmussen survey.

He first played the Rasmussen quote claiming although GOP voters liked her, liked her stances, and liked the way she fought, they (45%) didn't want her as their candidate.

In the next sentence, Rasmussen then went on to say that no candidate could win without her blessing if she didn't run.

Rush's comment: "Doesn't anyone else see the disconnect in all this?"

He explained the obvious disconnect and silliness of the survey, and as usual, Rush just nailed it.

but 45% believe it would be bad for the party.

I don't pay a whole lot of attention to the Moron Wing of the Republican party.
