Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann vowed again in her appearance on GMA this morning to repeal the job-killer known as Obamacare. Yet despite several valiant attempts by George Stephanopoulos to get Bachmann to say something, anything, critical about frontrunner Mitt Romney, she refused to get off message and ignored his question completely.
When Stephanopoulos asked whether Bachmann had any critique of Romneycare in Massachusetts, Bachmann instead repeated Obamacare will steamroll over all the state laws and suggested that what anyone else will do, or has done, is not relevant to her plans. .

I know of absolutely “no one” who supports or likes Romney. Absolutely, no one wants that RINO. Sorry Romney fans.
RomneyCare = ObamaCare = DeathCare = Slavery to the State.
Because she’s in bed with Romney.
A.) As a thwart against Palin (i.e. She’s now the voice of the Tea Party, so no reason for Palin to run).
B.) She wants the VP slot. (Was this a promise from the RINO/Rove/Romney faction to thwart Palin?)
If anyone doesn’t see that they are blind.
Those bashing Palin know her creds and her popularity. She’s a threat to their candidacy.
Media’s pick is Romney. Basically, current GOP wanna be President/VP group is supporting their narrative.
Nothing changed.
Michelle gets Iowa for gravitas, Mittens runs the rest of the board.
“Veep?”
Absolutely! If it comes time for the used car salesman to pick a running mate, she’s hoping she’s it.
If she feels so strongly about it, why didn’t we hear her voice when it was being passed. It was very quiet then and the only voice was Sarah’s..and when she spoke of their death panels - even this admin was listening.
All those coming out now saying they are against it - how could one be against something and have the floor but say nothing. Now, for vote purposes, they take advantage of their floor to speak out - I’m not impressed.
There is only one reason for the MSM to insist upon debates this early. They want a bit of blood letting on the GOP side, they want the bleeding to start early and often.
Glad to know the candidates are (so far) refusing to take the bait.
Re #20:
Did someone fail to worship properly at the alter of Palin for you?
So, you’re saying all the others are just in it for the theatrics? Give me a break.
You are addressing Romney fans... who you just wrote that you don't know even exist??? ;-)
While I doubt very much that Myth will get the nod, the smart and IMO victorious Republican will clearly differentiate themselves with pointing out right and wrong. Romneycare, and it’s inventor, the grandfather of Obamacare are wrong. It’s not breaking the 11th commandment since Romney would have to subscribe to the platform. He does not in a thousand different ways.
I have a gut feeling that the only reason a lot of gop’ers are against obammy care is because they’re not running it. Put them in charge and they’ll be falling all over themselves telling us how great it is.
Exactly. Maybe they're learning. Finally.
All I’m saying is that somethings makes you wonder.......I heard reports months ago that Bachmann team was trashing Sarah in SC, and this was well before Bachmann was considered serious about a run so there was no thought of a rivarly going on
If this is indeed the group tactic — to focus fire on Obama and to avoid attack son each other — it’s a pretty smart one. There’s plenty of time to draw contrasts with each other, but it’s never too early to start tearing apart the Obama myth.
I can see how to argue that it’s both helpful to Romney (the longer he goes unchallenged as the supposed “frontrunner”, the better for him) and the also-rans (making the case that if any of us is better than Obama, then why settle for Romney’s damaged goods?).
That doesn’t take away from the fact the debates were about Obama, and playing into the MSM game plan. And your take is just that; your take. That doesn’t make it fact.
Frankly, I like the idea of going after Obama. It’s time we showed some gumption.
Now is not the time to get specific and hammer an opponent.
She needs to garner momentum and support from those who are undecided about her.
If it comes down to a debate between 2 or 3 candidates then she should open the can of whoopass and have at it.
Hopefully, Mutt will get clue and drop out before that ever occurs.
Everybody is going to repeal obamacare. I will believe it when I see it,but, I would for hell to freeze over first.
