Republicans "went right for the jugular" when they chose this state as the place to demonize public employees, destroy the right to vote and abuse the budget process that will continue this week, former U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold told supporters Sunday evening near the Capitol Square.
"Why are we in a place called Walkerville today?" he asked the energized crowd at the corner of State and West Mifflin streets, amid the tent village that sprang up earlier this month to protest the state budget bill and will remain through June 20 while lawmakers debate the bill.
"Because we will not stop until we win."

PING. Foolsgold is at it again.
>>Republicans “went right for the jugular” when they chose this state as the place to demonize public employees<<
Interrupting a Special Olympics opening falls under the category of “self-demonizing.”
” “Because we will not stop until we win.” “
We’re going to stamp our little feet, and throw ourselves in the middle of the floor, and screech until we get our way!!
(IOW - just another day in the life of the Libs....)
FineIdiot was Juan McInsanes buddy, Suggestion ,Moron,Please just keep pissing everyone off.
TO WI Voters:
By all means, if you wish to return to a broken state, vote for the one’s who broke your state...democrats. And BTW, your state is one screwed up place.
Feingold, along with John “Strawberries” McInsane, the author of the First Amendment Hating Campaign Finance Travesty.
Feingold is McCain’s buddy.
The drama is unbearable. The "energized crowd" is the dozen or so tent dwellers who get excited when someone beats a drum or passes a bong.
Of interest just why the hell did Walker go to war on public employees? Did they cause the recession?
Foolsgold should go join Weiner in Wankerville.
Then they have a problem. There is no scenario where the public employee unions can win in the long term.
Public employees do not produce wealth they consume it. Welfare does not produce wealth, it consumes it. The number of people that are consuming the wealth created by the producing segment of the population is beginning to exceed the number of people in the productive segment of the population.
So even if they regain control of the statehouse in Wisconsin, they have not solved the problem. At best they kicked the can down the road a little. The books in the end have to be balanced.
The great socialist experiment has failed. The only question left to answer is how bad did the left hurt our great nation?
Walkerville?
no
That would be 0bamaville.
The war comparison is the inevitable hyperbole of the left. In actuality the unionized state employees where sucking the state dry.
I guess Feingold can’t find a legitimate private sector job after he was kicked out.
This weekend, at a venue I need to keep undisclosed, we overheard a staunch progressive saying that there was not a prayer they could recall Scott Walker and that they should have launched any recall immediately after the election. Of course, that would have looked like totally soreloserville.
They are just ginning up their base. Remember, Prosser won despite unions spending huge amounts of money and the recount didn’t produce more than a few hundred votes for Kloppie, who evidently was also told the unions couldn’t afford to back a lawsuit they would lose, with Prosser sitting on the State Supreme Court.
We can’t afford to ignore them, unfortunately, but, at least for now, it isn’t likely they will do more than scream and rant. BUT, if they ever do regain control here, they will steal everything that wasn’t stolen under Doyle or was regained under Walker.
...former U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold...I love repeating it.
Actually, our state is doing pretty good.
Our unemployment rate is around 7.8, last I heard. In the first 4 months of 2011, 25,000 private sector jobs were created, with 11,500 of them in manufacturing.
The unions have targeted us, even though similar or stronger laws have been passed in other states. Most of the demonstrators seen on TV are out-of-staters, professionals, or students staying in Madison over the summer.
We survived a recount based on phoney accusations. I have heard leftists admitting they cannot succeed in recalling Walker and anyone can run for any office they please....doesn’t mean they will win. Finegold is a professional pol who was defeated from his *safe* seat. Kohl is a joke, but Tammy Baldwin is, as well. She will just get the same liberal votes Kohl would have gotten and fewer of the moderate ones. Even some GOPers vote for Kohl, but they will not vote for Tammy.
Why do people insist on denigrating the entire state based on Progressive rhetoric?
“Why are we in a place called Walkerville today?”
Because that’s where the cameras are.
