An author of alleged “children’s books” needs to wash his mouth out with soap and find a new airline after dropping the F-bomb aboard an Atlantic Southeast Airlines flight.
The Detroit News reports Brooklyn author Robert Sayegh is thinking about suing the Delta Connection carrier.
According to the article, the 37-year-old, was flying from Kansas City to Newark when a flight attendant overheard him ask “What’s taking so [bleeping] long to close the overhead compartments?”
The plane taxied to the runway but returned to have Sayegh forcibly removed.
Sayegh told the Detroit paper he used the F-word twice.
“I’m like, ‘Are they throwing me off the plane? This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever been through in my life. It’s embarrassing.”
Sayegh, who’s also a TV producer, said he is not “a crazy maniac” and that in New York “we curse as adjectives.”

Hippies and libs started deconstructing English language back around 1964. There was an attempt to make filthy talk normal.
So on the one hand, we have an obnoxious childrens’ book author going on a profane tirade. On the other hand, we have the flight Nazis who would kick you off the plane for sneezing one too many times. Is there any option where both of them can lose?????

This society, if it wants to remain a society, needs to drop the "f" bomb, it needs to have standards.
Too many people think unloading with vulgar language wins the arguement...............it just makes you rude and intollerable.

Ever watched a movie on an airline? They are scrubbed clean of swearing, as well as innuendo. You will NOT hear the F-word on either a free or on a Pay-per-view movie.
They have largely succeeded, especially among their own. One of the easiest ways to guess one's politics is by observing the willingness to drop f-bombs in public and mixed company.
I'm with the captain on this. If the lead flight attendant wanted this guy tossed, it's appropriate for the pilot to trust her instincts. My guess is that either this comment was "overheard" because it was directed at her with the intention of being heard and abusive, or the other use of inappropriate language was sufficiently combative that it doesn't belong on a flight. I've seen disruptive drunks on a plane, and the crew have the responsibility (not just the right) to avoid those situations.

Well maybe this turkey should keep it in NY and out of a commercial aircraft cabin. People can turn a TV channel or not watch a movie but what about sitting next to a idiot like this. The Captain did good.

There was a time when those who called themselves conservatives would not have taken the side of someone who used such language casually in public. That particular battle seems to have been conceded to the libs.
