Gov. Chris Gregoire has called a 10 a.m. Monday news conference in Olympia to announce her future plans.
The Democrat is expected to say whether she'll seek a third term.
Congressman Jay Inslee says he'll run for governor if Gregoire does not.

Maybe she had hard feelings about the Unions cheating in the recount getting her elected? Want to take bets?!
Oh, thank you Jesus!
But shes so good at stealing elections!
Lord, please send lightning bolts towards these two liars and cheaters. Thank you for limiting the damage they can do. Amen.
You betcha those Dem Mfers cheated. My cousin back in college interned for Rossi’s campaign during the re-count and everyone on the elections committee were Dems. He’s heard of how blatant Dems cheat elections but he witnessed it firsthand.
Oh, Gregoire is doing everything that she can to support the unions before she leaves office. She’s even dumped on the Greens to support the unions and Democrat Crony capitalism.
This has something to do with Boeing. The unions are about to get spanked and she doesn’t want to be anywhere near that come election day.

McKenna Announces Run for Governor, Calls for New Direction for Washington
6/8/2011
Cites lack of leadership in Olympia, belief that better times lie ahead
Bellevue Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd at his old high school, Attorney General Rob McKenna tonight launched his campaign for governor. McKenna told the audience at Sammamish High School that under his leadership, Well have a government that matches our states spirit of innovation.
McKenna spoke of charting a New Direction for Washington state that focuses on job creation, the nations best public schools and a reformed state government that lives within its means.

Just the opposite. Congress is voting today on an Obama administration initiative to limit projects that receive government money to union members only.
Call your congressman, now! Tell him it is unfair and discriminatory to shut out the majority of the workers from government projects just because they refuse to pay union dues! This is an assault on right to work states.
good news
Democrats are learning that governing is no fun when you run out of other people’s money.
Gregoire all but said that being a governor with nothing to do but make cuts is no fun. She hates it.
So which Democratic Senator is leaving?
I cannot imagine Christine not running for political office, and Senator sounds like something she would want to do.
They are cutting spending in WA state?
Gregoire was probably referring to the health care block grants that she was forced to support in order to balance the budget. She went to WA DC just a week or so ago and signed on to the Republican proposal, which kind of undermines Obamacare efforts.
She may also see the handwriting on the wall in regard to Obamacare being declared unconstitutional, after all the moves she has made to destroy the private insurance companies and medicare in this state.
The Democrat party is breaking apart in this state. It’s now unions vs environmentalists. All the Dems politicians have sided with the unions over the Greens. They are going where the money is.
Congressman Jay Inslee will probably run for the Democrats now. Depending on changes made to his district during redistricting, that may be a prime GOP takeover opportunity.
As for the gubernatorial race, I think that Inslee will be harder to beat than Gregoire, but McKenna still has a pretty good chance of winning.
We have a really good shot this year with Rob McKenna.
