Rick Santorum is qualified to be president because HE was born here. It doesn’t matter where his parents were born or if they are U.S. citizens or not.

Oh yes it does matter

If his parentsa were not born in the US or American citizens at the time of his birth he is not eligible

Barrys father was not an American citizen when he was born so Barry is not eligible to be POTUS

The question regarding Barack Obama’s qualifications to be elected president did NOT concern his parents and where they were born. If it did he would not be president today, since his father was not a U.S. citizen. It did concern where HE was born and whether he was born in Hawaii as a natural born citizen or not. Go back and read the Constitution concerning this matter-—it doesn’t mention a word about one’s father or mother.

The question about John McCain’s qualifications concerned the same issue. Since he was born in the Panama Canal Zone many thought that he was not qualified to be elected either and questioned whether he was a natural born citizen. His parents had nothing to do with him being qualified.
