Emails released Friday show Sarah Palin and her family were determined not to have their oldest child singled out while he was stationed in Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska.

According to released emails, Track Palin, 22, was “deathly afraid of being given special treatment or attention,” Palin wrote, especially during the governor’s visit to the base where he and the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team were until deployed to Iraq in September 2008.

“Track is begging that, at the most, we stop by his company to say ‘what’s up’ and that he not have his shift schedule changed just to accommodate our visit,” Palin wrote in a June 11 email after Track had possibly been appointed to lead their tour.

Track, according to Palin’s emails was “nervous” and “[didn’t] want to be treated any differently than other soldiers.”

These emails will great bolster her run.

I think they will be a definite positive boost for Sarah.

The socialist left, MSM, and PDS types project as a matter of daily activity. They firmly believe that everyone is as conniving and mean spirited as themselves, and would reflect the desire and pursuit of privileged treatment regularly in their communications. So they pursue total exposure and, surprise, shoot themselves and their own values in the foot.

I really don’t want Romney forced on me. I will go for whoever runs against obamao, but palin, bachmann, or Cain would really get me excited.

I think once she runs on her own, she can sway a lot of those on the fence.

“Wonder how many of these reporters will realize what low down dirty jackals they have been?”

I think Sarah “converted” Greta Van Sustrein a couple of years ago....... It can be done......

"I gave them a stroke for reporting it. They could have buried the report. I wonder why they posted it, actually. Doesn't make sense."

They reported it to save face so that they could go with the narrative that they only wanted the emails in order to shine a light on one of the most popular figures in America today. Had they not reported the emails it would have been too obvious that they really only wanted dirt -- which was obvious anyway.

Class.

Not Park Avenue class.

Not intellectual elite class.

But instead, American heartland class.

That is a very good thing.

How interesting it would be if any emails emerged about our troops and defenses near where you CAN see Russia from AK. Of course that would be a national security issue that would have been removed from the emails.

I’d love the yoyos who bought into the Fey line about seeing Russia from Palin’s porch to just get a sense of AK’s strategic geographic importance. AK was the ONLY US territory the Japanese were able to breach and set foot on during WWII. But they don’t know that on the set of SNL.

It must have just killed the squish-heads at Politico to have to report this.

The MSM's reaction to the Palin email story sort of reminds me of their response to Glenn Beck's rally in DC last year. They came in convinced how the story was going to play out and when it didn't they scrambled to explain why.

LOL, Strange.

As I peruse these many articles about the leftist presstitutes' muck-raking of Gov. Palin's email, I see a dearth of posts by a certain cadre of FR posters.

Surely, I thought, they would flock to any article posted about Gov. Palin, as they always have up until now.

But, for some reason, they aren't.

Not even an "I'm concerned" post.

Strange indeed ..... too quiet ..... maybe they're gathering in the darkness, in the bushes just beyond the light from the camp fire, snarling and drooling, like in the scary movies?

This woman needs to be President.

To be honest with you, I wouldn't wish the job on anyone!

Unfortunately - we need her, or someone like her to pull us back into the leadership of the free world.

They've realized the PR hit they've taken for making such a fuss about getting the emails so now stories like this are basically damage control for the MSM. As you pointed out it is too late because they're not fooling anyone.

I don’t know a lot about Bachmann, but I could really support Palin or Cain.

The timing for the release of these email is perfect. She has the press foaming at the mouth for any and every tidbit of information. Not only are they are chasing her around the country, but they have frantically worked over these emails. They are going to burn themselves out before she even announces her candidacy. If they start clamoring for the “rest” of those emails, all she has to state is that she will release those when Obama releases his emails. We all know that ain’t happening.
