A good portion of the wolf habitat is currently going up in flames, mainly due to environutter opposition to logging and forest thinning to protect endangered species. Both the wolf and the spotted owl will have a hard time surviving now the over 600 square miles of their habitat has been destroyed.

Rained like heck in Las Cruces sunday night - rattled the windows, like Graf.
We have a nice little thunderstorm that just cropped up. It looks like it’ll give us about 1/4” or so. Not a whole lot, but more than we had. Hope and pray that you and all of Texas are as fortunate in the near future.

I know that the Ponderosa Pine forest (largest stand in the country) in and around Flagstaff, AZ is a bark beetle brittle tinderbox. The powers that be finally are allowing some clean up but the environmentalists have cause an extremely dangerous situation to develop across the country — they have too much power and not enough brains but the purpose in the end is to dictate everything we do.
