Sarah Palin snubs Elisabeth Hasselbeck and she is not taking this gracefully

Sarah Palin is refusing to return calls to Elisabeth Hasselbeck and this is upsetting the lone conservative voice on the cast of “The View.” When Palin needed her, she was all over Hasselbeck for interviews, now she is snubbing the one person who was very supportive of her on the daytime talk fest, according to the LA Times.

Palin is giving Hasselbeck the cold shoulder and she is “miffed” at this, reports the Times. Hasselbeck feels used by Palin, who was once had a work related friendship with the former Alaskan governor. Now Hasselbeck has reached out several times to Palin, who appears to be ignoring her in return.

Hasslebeck did complain that Palin’s bus tour was distracting from Mitt Romney’s message, but this might be because Hasslebeck is upset at Palin for ignoring her attempts to get in touch with her.

This is what Hasselbeck had to say about Palin, of course this is after Palin has refused to return her calls: "If I had termites in my house, I'd get someone in there who could deal with it," Hasselbeck said. "Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it: because Sarah Palin's on a bus and right now she's manipulating, in terms of media attention."

This type of flippant remark probably wouldn't have come from Hasslebeck about Palin if the two were still on good terms.

Connecticut residents got a quick glimpse of Palin on her bus tour when she stopped in Cromwell, Connecticut to gas up the bus. A crowd gathered because the bus stood out like a sore thumb. Paling got out of the bus and mingled with the Connecticut citizens that stopped by to say hi.

I agree, Sarah Palin is apparently the first conservative politician since Ronald Reagan to realize that people respect leaders who know how to put the media in their proper place (and are not afraid to do it).

The media exists to inform the public. It is a mistake to allow them to get big-headed about themselves because public officials feel they have to suck up to them to get in their good graces. The media and our public officials (mainly liberals) have been in bed with each other for so long that the media have basically abandoned their main reason for existing - to inform the public.

It's simply Sarah Palin using her God-given common sense. Elisabeth Hasselbeck has publicly criticized Palin, quite a few times. Hasselbeck is obviously a Romney supporter. This being the case, Sarah Palin has absolutely no reason to want to appear on The View, where she would be forced to engage in a futile shouting match with a gaggle of leftist harridans that despise her and everything she stands for. It's a pretty safe bet that, in that situation, Liz Hasselbeck, no conservative, wouldn't be much help. So, Palin ignores Hasselbeck's calls - and the little Primadonna has a snit. Too bad. She'll get over it. Sarah Palin doesn't need 'friends' like Elisabeth Hasselbeck - and she knows it. Good move, Sarah!

From time to time, I tuned in to the beginning of “The View” to see what these hens are cackling about. It’s really difficult to watch these “ladies.”

In the past, Elisabeth would tell Joyless Behar, “What are you afraid of?” when Behar would start bitchin’ about Sarah Palin.

Now, Elisabeth says, “The Republicans should just sit out the 2012 presidential race,” and Hasselbeck has said this more than once. My guess is that this comment has annoyed Sarah Palin, since she knows that 2012 is vitaly important for the country. Also, when Barbara and Whoopi complain about Palin, Elisabeth hasn’t said boo in Sarah’s defense in recent months.

Probe around the edge looking for weak spots to exploit. Attack then blend back in. We are watching asymmetrical political warfare.

Kind of like thoughtful, intelligent, sometimes stealth, precision attacks, kind of like what Reagan use to do. I like the points you made here. Interesting.

Are you really a government bean counter? Better not let them know you're on FR I guess.

I remember when Glenn Beck appeared on “The View”.....it was an unmitigated disaster. What was he thinking, going into that den of Obama fawning vipers?

Do you know what a woman hating piece of garbage Ed Rollins is and always will be?

Michele was sliding south before she hired that scum, but that was the last straw. If she knew all about him and still hired him she has delusions of colossal proportions, if she did not then shame the hell on her for not doing even a half assed job of vetting him.

The media has decided THEY ARE the news. It's all about them. The media IS the issue.

So true. Your post made me think back a lot of years to when, as a young newspaper reporter, I interviewed a prominent TV foreign correspondent who was visiting town. He gave me a royal chewing-out about journalistic ethics. He said his first and only job was to deliver the news as objectively as possible, not to BE the news. I took that lesson to heart but my, how things have changed!

Anyone who could stand to be with those hags on the view and be used by them as a weak, so-called conservative doesn’t have my respect.

And this whole story sounds like a made-up scenario anyway.

Yeah, but Trump was great on the View. He handled them very well and came out with his points well made, even in the face of such amazing daffiness.

If you haven't seen it it's great.

Hasselbeck is pretty but dumber than a brick which is why she is the “token conservative” on the View.

If Sarah comes on the show, Joy and Whoopi will attack while Liz retreats into the background. It'll be two against one - actually more than two if you count cameramen, directors, technicians, etc., all trying to score a Palin "gotcha" moment.

If "The View" were the least bit relevant, I'd enjoy watching Sarah Palin slice, dice and gut Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg on national television.

But it's not, and Palin is simply saying so without saying so.

You’re right about Trump.....he really gave hell to those “View” hosts. Whoppi was squirming like a worm in her seat....it was “must see” TV.

Elisabeth is a liberal suck up. Those “The (LEFT) View” clips make me sick. Hasselbeck tries way too hard to befriend & appease the other idiot hostesses on that show. Don’t care to watch anymore of her temper tantrums. She backed Palin in 2008 for convenience purposes only. Her own.

Well said. Needs to be shouted from the rooftops. On a regular basis.

But not after 9pm.
