It is too late for millions of us... bachmann has screwed the pooch and she has allowed a political hack attack on Palin to happen and the time that has passed, makes it impossible to undo this "dirty deed done dirt cheap". bachmann can go screw herself. I would not vote for her or support her in any way... she would stab us in the back just like she allowed Sarah to be stabbed... plus she and her husband met as activist dims... both working for jimmy carter... the second worst president of the USA. No way in hell I would support her... you cannot recover from that character flaw... that is not a youthful indiscretion... it was a life changing mistake.

I agree. Bluff or not, even if the chance of “winning” is zero, sue the bastards.

The alternative I would consider is to send out a press release to the effect that if anyone in the MSM cites that quote as gospel, they should expect to be sued as monopolistic conspirators in an orchestrated attack on the public's ability to make considered political judgement. And that the amount for which they will be sued will be more than their company(s) are worth.

IMHO a mere web site is too small a target - even if you win, you lose by the fact of engaging them.

She would no more attack Michele Bachmann at this point in

Someone must have scared Politico. They’ve posted a “correction” now at the end of the hit piece:

“CORRECTION: An editing error caused a false attribution in an earlier version of this column. A comment by the authors was transformed into a direct quote from Sarah Palin. She never said the words attributed to her. Those words were written by the authors.”

I want the name of the “editor” they’re trying to blame the lie on.

Perhaps you’re giving the ‘general public’ too much credit. The public is well programmed now, given the decades of bread and circuses. We no longer live in a We The People Constitutional Republic. The major, general transformation is settled now, just the particulars are being constructed.
